Two changes for the redmen.  Fabinho and Mane in, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keita on to the bench.

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Mane, Salah Firmino.

Subs: Adrian, Milner, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Minamino, Origi, Matip.

For me the only good thing about that kit is the badges.

Believe it’s the first time that starting 11 have all played together this season, which is surprising. Thought Keita would have kept his place ahead of Gini, think Gini has been well off what he’s capable of lately. Expect Keita will start the next league game instead.

Nice strong bench with some good options there.

Anyone have any idea what that defence is like? Know very little about them.

To be honest, there’s nobody in that line up that jumps out and concerns me. More bothered about Carrasco and Costa who will no doubt go on at some point.

Agree, the shirt is 'different', but with the badges it becomes a bad boy.

Lodi is a good left back but he's quite young, signed not that long ago from Athletico Paranaense in Brazil. He's seen like Filipe Luis' successor, seems to have settled faster than expected. Felipe is more experienced, Atletico signed him from Porto - another Brazilian. A solid defender but he's no prime Diego Godín. I'm surprised to see Gimenez on the bench to be honest. In any case, this isn't a very impressive Atletico side at all if I'm being honest. Quite confident for it.

Quite possibly the strongest line up including the bench that we have fielded in many a moon 🌑, no reason why this team can’t go all the way .

Solid line up. Tough game expected tho.Shouldn't get to confident as only a night of solid graft, press the space and take our chances will get us through.

Think Giminez has been injured, only returned to the squad at the weekend.

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp speaking to BT Sport: "I expect a big fight actually.

"I don’t think anybody played against Atletico and not been ready for a big fight. This team is really intense in their DNA. Good news we've got that in our DNA. We really have to be on our top - knockout stage, two games,.

On being told that Atletico have never lost a home tie in the Champions League knockout stage: "Really? Good news. Thank you very much. Thank goodness we play at Anfield too.

On Fabinho's inclusion, after the midfielder recovered from an ankle injury: "Good to have him back. He was ready for Norwich, but not for both games."

Said it before KO not expecting a win, but we need to stay in the tie.
