Watford 3-0 Liverpool: In game and Post Match discussion

Best night if the season fir the gooner fans.

FairPlay to Watford they were excellent and we were well beaten. A lot being made of Lovren but we were poor all over the pitch so you can’t pin it all on him. The last couple of games have shown how valuable Henderson has become and not having Milner to step in also hurts.

It’s been that long since we actually lost a league game I’d forgotten what it feels like. But if you gonna lose one do it when your 22 points clear at the top of the table.

So that's how it feels
Poor against WH, but managed to win. Didn't get away with it today.
Though VVD was at fault in the 1st - OK, the ball goes over Dejan, but VVD has a chance to cut the assist out and doesn't even raise a leg, pushes the guy a bit and that was it - bad. And for the 2nd, VVD's got his hands in the air cause there was a bit of messin goin on with the lads on the touchline, but if he's really alive he maybe cuts out that through ball. Dejan was Dejan, unpredictable. VVD's been off form imho for a few matches now.
And up front, did nothing tonite, Mo and Mane were involved but they were aimless. Bob hardly got a touch. AOC was wasteful. Nobody really stands out as being good, though the FBs almost always put in a decent shift.
Think we've enough of a cushion in the PL, but need to get our act together if we want to beat Athletico in the CL.
Good to see Jürgen out congratulating Watford, not being a big girls blouse and huffing off down the tunnel - the man is class.
End of the unbeaten run. And won't have an unbeaten season.
But hopefully that will be a kick up the arse and we come bounce back in the next one...

West Ham had 30% possession, Watford had 29% of the possession...and we conceded 5 goals...can't work it out...ah what the hell..I blame Lovren..

in some ways that monkey is off their backs now its done and there were no prizes for it lets get back to winning ways and see where that takes us. Without Hendo we have nobody steering the ship . Cant say I am surprised at losing we have been miss firing for some time now and I do think it has been the pressure of winning something that no Liverpool team has done for 30 years that's quite a burden to carry.

Two poor mistakes cost us the game. Allison stopped when  he should have been out like a greyhound for the through ball for the second, and Trent made a howler.

Watford deserved their win, they had a plan, stuck to it, and got their rewards, we had a absolutely fantastic run, and nothing will stop us winning the league, it’s only delayed, it proves that we are only human and occasionally nothing goes to plan or a performance isn’t what it should be, that’s what happened tonight,
