I agree but I think it’s the right call he has been a bit off the pace since coming g back although I thought the Bournemouth game at weekend was the best he’s looked. Disappointed Keita is not fit? He’s the one player who can come off the bench and offer something g a little bit different against a deep defence

Agree . Is it injury based ? Bit worrying if he cant find a place on that bench

Might see a few more shots from distance. Wouldn't surprise me if Ox has been instructed to do just that. Sometimes you get a deflection, might create some corners or a rebound chance. If they defend as deep as last time I expect this.

If they come out and try to play with this lineup, I expect us to teach them a lesson.

Went for 3 - 1, but hoping we can get a clean sheet.

Bricking it here, took the afternoon off to watch the game.

No Fab, Ox instead.  8) Good choice. Let's face it: the only thing worse to not advancing over Atletico would be a cancel of the season, losing our almost safe title. So we better bring our A game and for God's sake I hope we don't stop after 1-0 or 2-0, we need to be prepared if Madrid scores a goal.

      GO LIVERPOOL GO !!!

Danny Makkelie, he's Dutch and according to some Dutch refs generally don't tolerate bullshit from players.

Tonight we progress into the final 8 of this season’s CL, AM, stand in our way, ,they hold a 1-0 lead from the first leg, a goal they were very fortunate to get, a rebound off Gomez straight into the path of the scorer, from that point AM sat back and soaked up everything we threw at them, parking a couple of double deckers in front of the 18yd box,
They will no doubt use the same double deckers tonight but have a attacking outlet in Diego Costa, so I reckon they plan to get in behind us on the counter and try and nick one,

Pace is the key to open them up, we need Bobby, Mo & Mane to be at their best, with their tricks and flicks aplenty, glad Hendo is back, he won’t let the intensity drop, and without stating the obvious our defence need to be properly on the ball every second, Adrian is a brilliant keeper, I have every faith in him,

All in all, it’s a right tough match, probably one of our hardest to date, however, we’re not called the Mentality Monsters for nothing, I can see us being too much for them, might even see a red, for them not us, via their gamesmanship bollocks,

Get through this tonight, I firmly believe we will be adding a 7 to our Champions League Wall.

According to the BBC, he's not fully fit either so hopefully that affects him.

Contrasting scenes at our two games, Anfield filling to the gills as the Parc des Princes remains empty and unused.
