No way this competition gets completed though. Juve player just got tested positive too. With that in mind we'll look after the trophy for this season.

Hard one to take. We played well..not great but well enough to have won it. Don't know how Adrian was found wanting, looked good enough earlier on in the season but after Chelsea. He fumbled a few even before the give away.

But we should've killed them off in normal time. Other issue is TAA is looking like a poor defender, just not strong enough in the tackle. He's come a long way in a few seasons so we give him time to get it right.

Midfield is still not quite right tho.Sooner we get the league won the better. Once that's done the Boss can reassess the squad.

What do you know about mental fragility are you a psychologist, just asking like 🙂

I know how many times the lads have pulled out win after win, game after game. I know how they kept pace with City all last season and how they came back from 3-0 down against Barca in one of many great come backs we have enjoyed.

Dont be smart it doesnt suit you. You're the one who brought the subject up despite many examples to the contrary.

Thought midfield was our best area of the pitch. Hendo was solid, Gini was boss with a goal and assist, Ox was really good and set up the opening goal and then Milner came on and was very good too. If anything I’d say it’s the attack that’s looking a bit weaker of late, Firmino for the entire first half was a passenger.

Really needed this win to pull me out of this constant state of anger I’m in about the world losing its collective mind about Corona.

Can’t believe Adrian thought it was a good idea to kick that out.

Don’t know what else to say. They are a crap team with crap tactics and they won’t ever win anything of note playing that way. They will always eventually get beat by someone that can break them down. It should have been us tonight but we just didn’t get it done. If there is a next round or one after that, they will get beat then.

I think they're a good side mate, in their pomp a few years ago they were superb. Admittedly they play the old catenaccio style of the great Italian sides and it's not easy on the eye. Don't forget they outplayed us in the first leg and we were lucky to get out with 1-0.

Went for Hendo MOTM he was everywhere on his reappearance and F**k me we look a miles better side with him in that midfield over Fabinho.

      We were dynamic once more.

I get that but we have been going on about mentality monsters blah blah, so where were the leaders?

Just goes to show the mental fragility of even top players when the pressure is piled on.

End of the day it’s been a fantastic run and time to reload and start again.

Nothing about being smart, biggest game of the season and we concede 3 goals, the further we go unbeaten in the season and our form deteriorates coincidence.....No? They are only human at the end of the day, not sure why you are trying to prove they are superhuman!

I can’t brlieve we had it won, and one cock up leads to total collapse.
We were great tonight, deserved the lead, then once we conceded we
Looked like a side bereft of belief.
They must have felt like their heart had been ripped out. After all that effort.
      Just gutted for the boys.
Let’s take it out on the bitters eh !

Our good fortune finally ran out tonight, we were by far the better team in all areas except one!
Adrian was just utter sh*t tonight, we were 100% in control at 2-0 then that stupid kick out followed by a weak attempt at saving the shot, the 2nd goal was also saveable as was the third.

Oh well it happens and we had 2 fantastic seasons of CL.

We conceded goals 2 and 3 because we pushed everyone forward in search of a winner. With a proper goalkeeper in goal we dont concede the first and goals 2 and 3 dont happen.

I'm not saying we are super human. You're saying we showed mental fragility.

Im just saying we lost a game of football. Not every win and every loss has to be down to mentality but we have showed countless times enough to avoid being called mentally fragile that much is for certain.

Adrian however has shown mental fragility, he has looked nervy almost every time the ball has come near him since coming back in for Allison.

I think we have shown mental fatigue as the season has gone on, that should not be seen as a sleight on the players, it’s only natural bearing in mind the run they have been on.
Maybe I have confused it with complacency ie the Watford game.

That was from if this was the biggest game of the season then we collapsed after the Adrian error, mentality monsters don’t do that ( which to be fair was a load of bull because we scraped a few games 😀)

How the F**k do you know it's mental fragility?

How about F***ing fatigue and tiredness, what we've put into this season to get to the point we are in the league, was always gonna cost us elsewhere.

It's easy for us to moan over it. May be the enormity of playing in the Champions League got to him.We all know keepers can look great one minute and rubbish the next. Much more pressure on them now obviously. Play out from the back, can't just hoof it one.

Can't blame one player tho, it's history now and we just hope, because of the virus, the season doesn't descend into chaos.

Ref was useless, where the f**k was VAR? We should have had a foul before their first goal, and Mane should have had a pen in second half of extra time.
Trent just gave up once their second goal went in. Dismal showing after a strong performance across 90 minutes.
Feel most for Gini, he didn’t deserve to be on the loosing side today. Robbo needs to learn how to hit a barn door.
