Belgian Cup final set for August
Belgian champions Club Bruges will meet Royal Antwerp in the domestic cup final on 1 August despite the rest of the 2019-20 season having been called off.

The match will take place behind closed doors at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels.

The decision was announced after the two clubs, the Belgian Pro League and Belgian football association met with city officials to sort out arrangements and police and security services gave a green light.

The final was originally set to be played on 22 March. Belgium has since ended its season early with Club Bruges declared champions.

Think Deeney has had enough air time and should start preparing for a long career in the Championship.

I can only see us improving next season too, we're just at the beginning of our domination of the league. ;D

We're even beating the plastics financially, too - "Liverpool leapfrog Manchester City and Chelsea in KPMG's list of Europe's most valuable clubs to fifth as their valuation jumps 19 per cent to £2.25 billion" on the Liverpool subreddit.

So they are starting the fixtures with the 2 ‘missing’ games.
Then if anything goes wrong they can call a halt and declare the results as they stand or on an average points basis.

Sky Sports will make 25 of the remaining top-flight matches free to air, including the Merseyside Derby on the first weekend of the 19-21 June.

... if you haven't got Sky... how will you be able to watch it?

I have some Sky Sports channels via Virgin although I don't subscribe to them. Hopefully the streams for those games are good.

According to someone on another forum, in regards to the free matches - "Via there 'Pick' Channel they say, which is available on Freeview and Freesat. Starting with the Derby."

Pubs can't open before 4 July and even then I imagine only if they can maintain socially distancing which means what, like a handful of people in each pub?

Similar to here. Not sure the exact date but bars are about the last place to open. I predict when they do all thoughts about 50 percent and 6 feet will be shot out of the window from a freaking cannon. They can just forget it and the cops aren't going to worry about it one bit.

I used to watch games on streams. It's no substitute for professional coverage, what with all the links, adverts, poor picture/sound quality, at times in a different language, frequent interruptions, and the action itself regularly on a time delay. Anytime we score, the picture freezes as it can't cope with demand. Then you have to refresh the whole thing, to see what actually happened. And anyone who dares to watch a game on a mobile, sees their data allowance eaten up long before the half time, let alone full time whistle.

      Not worth it.
