"see us train", are you an ex-player?

      Haha, unfortunately not.

Just meant "us" as in Liverpool, usually refer to them as that.

You are an extremely patient and tolerant person.  :)

So it's Everton on the 21st then. I think City will beat Arsenal so I like us to win the title at home vs. Palace - the match at Anfield of course.

Right, but Merseyside police have said they are fine with games being played at Anfield and Goodison, haven't they?

Yep, but the person who is the Police Liaison officer for the Premier League i.e the one who sits in their meetings and represents the whole of the police is deputy chief constable of South Yourkshire.

Seems like if you were choosing someone for that role, it wouldn't be the one whose department oversaw the most colossal failure of match policing in history.

I know that’s probably a fake but anyone else think as far as trophy’s go that the premier league trophy itself is really ugly (despite my desperation to win it) it just looks very cheap with the lions and crown. European Cup UEFA cup Fifa club World Cup and super cup all beauts in comparison

Think it's gone even worse with the new Premier League logo & font. Looks like something you'd win on Mario Kart

Old First Division trophy was much better

Pretty much thought it was some cheap rip off of the European Cup since it's inception 92/93

The only time it looked bad was when it was in a manc's hands.

The way Souness tossed the old trophy behind him in 82, you would think it was some cheap tat from the back of the souvenir shop.

I preferred the Gold league trophy in the mid 80's. It was a sponsors trophy, but it was Gold. Gold represents winners after all. But the current trophy will look beautiful when it's all shiny and dressed up, finally in our players hands, on the bus, and on the Wall.

I could not care less what the trophy looks like, I've waited 30 bloody years for it, will feel so good to finally have the league win confirmed :-)

I’ve always thought the Prem trophy looked a bit tat with the crown on the top. Are the lions new ? Never noticed them before. Just more tat in my opinion.
I think all this gold glossy shiny tat appeals to the cockneys. Got family in the traveller community, they seem to like all this stuff as well.
Doesn’t appeal to classy folk who are used to lifting old big ears. 😊

I didn't call it that. I said it looked it because of the way it was tossed behind him. It's an invaluable trophy, not a paper plane. It should be handled with care.

Would you rather lift a cup with three handles? Or even none? Because we've done it many times before.

Winning the title, and being called "CHAMPIONS" for a whole year, not to mention securing a top seed spot for the following year's European Cup group stage is what matters. The trophy itself, we'll take any design you like after all these years.
