On to the remainder of the season story. Still worthwhile things to play for, records, etc.

The media will play this as City putting a marker down for next season, unless we win in which case they'll likely ignore it more of less.

All in all it could be a tremendous game of football. I expect our strongest team (and theirs).

Come on the Champions of England, Europe and The World.

Should be a good game of football to watch. They will actually play and not sit back plus they will want to prove themselves. Could see a lot of goals.

Looking forward to it. They play free flowing attacking football but to many teams give them huge respect and don't try to play, just sit deep and wait for the inevitable. We counter press, why other teams don't do that against City is a mystery. Wolves did it..twice and even Norwich beat them, but standing off them dropping off plays right into their hands.

To have a chance tho you first have to compete, counter press then get at them and trust your team. Could be a cracker..

They will be desperate to beat the CHAMPIONS and prove they're still relevant.I'm not planning to take the afternoon off to watch.

They will have to attack but their defence is shaky, especially without Fernandhino, If we play well then we win.

Bang on, without fernandinho they’re a different side, Rodri is painfully slow.

I personally think it’ll be a good game, no pressure. Front 3 will be trying outrageous shots and hopefully bang in a few goals.

Totally disgusted with Danny Murphy. Kevin de Bruyne should disassociate himself from those remarks. Such a sly mean spirited thing to say. Certainly would ban him from Anfield.

Never liked the little c**t. Chip on the shoulder as the club never looked at him as an option to represent them in any capacity after he retired. Same as James - my source David James himself post the Kiev final I was involved in a fan match the next day coached by James and Smicer had a good chat to him.

Similar to the dime-a-dozen newspaper story where a journo rings up a former player for an opinion on some topic that basically has nothing to do with said player. Usually the opinion is casting some doubt/shade (at least the way the journo and the headline-writer spin it) on something the current team manager and players are doing. It's totally lazy and I can only think reflects how some former players just can't cope with being out of the spotlight.

I hope we use the remaining games to get rhe likes of Keita, Minamino, Jones, Elliot, Hoever, and Williams some minutes.  If our transfer business is going to be disrupted by Covid then we need to see who of the fringe players is capable of stepping up and playing a bigger part in our success next season.

That's the issue isn't it. Do we go all out to set a new points record or do we experiment with the players coming through. Klopp said "we can't spend million and millions...we have to look for solutions within the club"..is he saying he will be giving Williams, Jones,Mini and other a lot more game time.

For me I think it's best to play younger players. Obviously having a points record would be great but we need a bigger capable squad for next season and beyond.

Should be a really entertaining game, just a pity, I do not have Sky tv, will have to make do with the highlights later on MotD.

Ironic part is that I think KDB wears boots with no laces. But it’s good to see Murphy is clearly still bitter about being binned off by the club.

      What a weapon.

Regarding the game though, same line up but Keita coming in for Gini.
