So all this match has shown is that some fans aren't bothered when Liverpool lose, and some are.

That game was like vs Stoke in our last match of the season. A total "we don't care" attitude. We are Premier League Winners yes. We all celebrate that, but let's not forget we are Liverpool FC first.

       ;D

While you mull over this all night I'm going to have another beer and read my copy of the Echo Champions special that my local Tesco had in tonight.

Can't say I'm massively surprised.  Didn't really get going.  Did waste quite a load of chances though.  Sterling wins a pen, Sterling gets a shot off target put in by the Ox.

      Their night tonight.  Our year.

I think you are missing the point

Yes it’s disappointing to lose , no one wants to lose but it’s understandable giving the situation and also its not some pointer etc

There is no point overreacting and throwing teddies everywhere

WTF you waffling on about kid..?

Title is over, everything till end if season on the pitch is irrelevant as it changes f**k all., I couldn’t  give a f**k if we lost the next 6..,

Waited since I was 18 to see us lift the title again & im not going to let a irrelevant game dampen my celebrations..

      Case in point.  xxxxx:action-smiley-065:

Feel free to be bothered about this, I'm already over it. In case you didn't know in two months time everyone goes back to 0 points and we have to go again. Until then I'm going to F***ing enjoy the fact we're Champions of England - something at times in the last 30 years I felt I'd never see again. I'm not going to let 7 meaningless games get me down.

Our two full backs were total crap tonight. Don't know whether to blame them or the boss's system. Once again Gini was the invisible man.
However we are Premiership winners. just love it. CYR

On the whole it’s only our pride that suffers as a result of this defeat. Doesn’t change anything but it’s still not a good feeling being given a pasting like that.

Mixture of a severe lack of concentration and them being clinical. Some bizarre performances from us with some of the things our players were doing...in particular Robbo and Mane. The worst part is that rat Sterling scoring against us though.

Gomez got taken to the cleaners by Sterling, Firmino May as well had been off the pitch, Ox and Gini were miserable. Generally the only players to play anywhere near a decent level were Keita and probably Williams and Hendo.

City were up for this but had Salah hit the net instead of the post it could have been so different.

Hats off to KDB though, I think even if we were at our best then he’d have still ran the game, he’s a formidable player and probably the only player in the world I’m gutted we will never have playing for us. Man of the match by a long shot.

We were given a pasting, just like Watford gave us not so long ago. Expect to see a much different line up vs Villa.

Oh and on the plus side, at least Gabriel Jesus was just as bad as our lads.

We would never have played like that under normal circs...we were gung ho from the off..far to high..nearly worked as we could've been 2 up inside 15-18 mins...but we gave them to much space thru the middle..outnumbered and back peddling..

Fine line between attacking and being reckless. Got a bit ahead of ourselves but hey it was more to do with our situation.

Naby Keita was the only positive from that game. He has to start the next game.

Stoke was absolutely depressing, we got an even bigger twatting by relegation fodder. At that time we were a rudderless boat with a team full of sh*te managed by somebody who wasn't up to the job.

Tonight was sh*te but I'm not too bothered. Don't feel anything like I did after that Stoke game. We battered City in the league ourselves in 17/18 when they came to Anfield (albeit they bagged a couple of constellation goals at the end). I'm sure that result didn't take too much of a shine of their title and I'm sure this won't matter when we finally lift it. Will be forgotten about before the trophy is even put in the cabinet
