      Pre-Match: Liverpool v Aston Villa (5 July 2020 - 4:30 pm)
      Jul 03, 2020 02:41:24 pm
      Let's move on, shall we?

      NB: Team no longer available

I expect a few of our first choice XI will be rested in each of the next three matches.

Regarding the young players, Klopp just nixed the idea of using these late games as an audition since we've clinched the title. In his presser he said we don't "give Premier League games out like sweets." He also said they are all very close. We'll keep seeing them of course, but I think the lineups will reflect a desire to win every game.

      Yeah, let's :)
Think Milly, Keita and Mini coming in could be a good call.
But right, can't see him starting Neco/Jones/Elliot, though might see some of them later if things going well.
Would expect Villa to be scrapping given their position, so don't expect them to roll over.
Could be closer than we think.

I would expect around 4 to 5 changes to the side who play vs Citeh. Villa are in terrible run of form so I would expect us to batter them.

I'd give the same XI a chance to put things right and then start the kids/squad players from the game after this one.

Adrian, Milner plus the kids, Mane and Salah!

Send the rest to a drying out clinic

Possibly drop Trent, Gini and Firmino, bring in Williams, Keita and Jones.

Based on the performance yesterday, I thinks it’s a team of Keita vs Villa.

No idea what lineup we will go for, Keita was our best player vs the Bitters and still didn’t keep his place so can’t assume he will start this one. Expect there will be changes but at the same time I can understand why there maybe won’t be as many as there could be, the players need a good performance to put the City game behind them; particularly Robbo, Gini, Gomez, Mane and Bobby who were horrific.

Hope we bounce back and give these the hammering we gave Palace.

After that hangover drilling by City (yes I know we played at 75% but still).. I reckon a rotation is on the cards.. Klopp is treating the rest of the games as Pre-Season especially after the full steam season of 18/19 and the first 25 odd games this season... So a possible line up of.. Alison, Neco Williams, VVD, Gomez, Larouci; Keita, Hendo, Ox; Salah, Origi, Minamino... Adrian, Lovren, Trent, Robbo, Milli, Jones, Wiji, Mane, Firmino..

Yes like that, good attacking line up. Important to bounce back well and I'd be very surprised if we don't

Wouldn't be resting anybody for this. Probably bring Keita in but that's about it in terms of changes from yesterday.

Easiest way to get one over on City after last night is go go full throttle and ensure we break their points record

I reckon Shaq might get a run out here at some stage.

I would love to see Williams start this game. And for some reason I can't explain I would like to see TAA at some point during this game (or the next games) being given a cameo in midfield just to see what he looks like in there

Would love to see most of the first team but with one or two of the youngsters starting to see how they do in a much more realistic picture of the first team than when we field a ton of them and keep 1 or 2 of the regulars in there in an early F.A. cup tie.

One thing I'm 100% certain of is the lads have had a Jürgen rocket firmly rammed up their arses and villa are going to pay the price for the other night.

To that end I expect a reversal of the score line minimum, 5-0 to the red men.

Hope so,i didn't watch the city game but have a nagging concern we're gonna phone it in till the end of the season. It might just be in my head cos i can't get into my usual routine for watching the games, and the clogs are working overtime!

Think the lads will go out to perform, but now that the trophy's in the bag reckon it'll be almost impossible to be as 100% focused as we would be if we HAD to win our remaining games. But with the players we have, still good enough to put teams away.
Imho this is a chance for some players to stake a case for next season, make Jürgen sit up. He's going to have to rotate. The records are something Jürgen can use to keep the team focused, though can't say I care too much for them. What would like to see is Keita or some of the other non first XI players can have a great run in and give the boss proper selection headaches come 20/21 season.

Deffo wouldn't mind seeing Williams start. Nabby in midfield. Jones on at about 60 mins or so. Have a look at Grealish today.Good player.

We have plenty in midfield but maybe one or two haven't really stood up as if to say" Can't leave me out". Was very enthusiastic when Nabby signed, still hopefull, just want him to put together a run that really stands out.

Villa might put up a fight but I'll go 3-1.
