Wasn’t just Mo as Bobby, Mane and Jones all wasted chances, Williams was intent on getting a shot away whenever possible.

Another game that shows possession counts for nothing unless you stick the ball in the net and we handed Burnley the point today with poor finishing. Pope made a couple of good saves but they were in the 1st half, 2nd half we were hitting it straight at him.

      The subs killed our momentum.

      I'm so upset.

5:0 Against City and I ignored that
But a draw against Burnley at home is unacceptable.

Well... You can ignore again. ;D

You f**k off, take the rose tinted glasses off, their attack is better than ours, check the table for goals scored.

Who gives a F**k - look at the table see which team is perched at the top miles ahead of that great attack.

You can never wait to dismiss the team

Play more expansive stuff dont they? Their extra goals this year have come at a cost at the back, leaving them a million points behind us.

Meh. One of them. Should have buried them really. Last 20 wasn’t very good. Got pretty predictable.

The argument against the drinks break is that it affects momentum, didn't help the linesman flagged for offside cos he wanted a drink

      Correct.

      Correct.

      Correct.

Boys, face the wall and reflect on your performance today. You let me down big time today. Repent players. Repent.
No need for sarcasm. That was two points dropped today due to terrible finishing. Players and fans will be upset because it's not every season you will get the chance to be the record points title winners in the best league in the world. Yes, we've won the title and in style, but we need to make statements all the time now, and we need to put markers down for City to chase, ever, single, time, because we need to put City in our shadow as much as we possibly can. Any record of theirs, I want. Ruthless.

I really don’t understand the need for this stupid drinks break. It’s hardly scorching heat and the players have been back in full training and matches for a while now.

What do you think? I'm a heartless fan. :lmao:

I just wonder what kind of fan would so easily accept poor performances and apparently have no desire to see the team set records.

It seems funny to me that whenever we play badly, you go into "super fan" mode (which you are not) and pretend that everything is amazing, so positive, and so wonderful. Not sure if you are on a wind up or what...

Gomez, Bobby, and Ox still on lockdown. All have been poor since restart. TAA looks sluggish too. Crosses just haven't been there. Very frustrating restart IMO. Thank God were champs.

Mane looked flat today and Mo couldve shotn100 times today and it wouldn't have made a difference

      I'm heartless.

They boys gave their all to deliver number 19. High octane over two seasons. Why can't we cut them some slack?

The real war is number 20. Not this little battle you win in exchange for losing the war. Must we be supreme forever? You can't win everything.

I wanted the win every game record fuckwit, that's why I'm bloody annoyed at that game. Our forwards are not good finishers, they waste a huge amount of chances every game, probably the main reason we are not still in the CL.  We had about 5 shots more or less passed back to their goalie, it was pathetic.
That last chance for Salah summed it up, an awful effort, he could have passed it to Mane, just picked his spot, OR F***ing blasted it, but what does he do, tame shot straight at Pope.

Because complacency gets you second place. And who isn't cutting them some slack? All I said was that's two points dropped due to terrible finishing, and you came at me with your sarcasm. You're heartless. I'm ruthless. I'd even go as far to say Klopp is ruthless too.

The real war is number 20. Not this little battle you win in exchange for losing the war.
Every point is the real war, every record is the real war, every chance to put your rivals in the shade, is the real war.

      Yes

Didn't say we could. Just stated my opinion that 2 points dropped against Burnley at Anfield, due to terrible finishing, is very disappointing. Never mentioned wanting to win everything.

This was the chance to kill the game. Thought it would be a certain goal but think it went closer to row Z in the corner

Serious question for you guys, how often do our forwards score a goal like Jay Rodriguez did, ie from the edge of the box spin bang into the corner? We seem to almost need to pass the ball into the net, the saves that everyone are raving about would have been saved by post keepers I think as they were only 75% power and not into the corners. It baffles me a bit why our forwards lack shooting power because I guarantee its the easiest way of scoring, the harder and more accurate you can be the better.

Just total complacency today. The shots lacked effort and desire. Yet again, the match was treated more as a friendly. Williams was taking pot shots because he wanted to impress rather than play for the collective good of the team.

More of the "we won the league anyway" carelessness.

As much as Salah was misfiring today, I really can't aim any criticism at him or anyone for that matter.

That Jones, I think he's going to be a good player for us. Comfortable on the ball, links up well, and doesn't look overawed.
