All round Robertson is still the better player for me but on current form Kostas is hard to leave out

I agree. Hes much smarter with the ball then Robbo. Hes not as good defending as Robbo but hes not shabby either, and improving

Cant even begin to calculate how many games Robbo has played for us and Scotland so Kostas playing so well is a double bonus as he can play when called upon and we will get a fresher Robbo win win.

West Ham away though Robbo plays every time. The clue being he was rested yesterday for a start.

546 mins played no goals conceded . Think Robbo safe and number 1 but he will be kept on his toes who hopefully will play a lot more

Looking at how Mane was targetted, there is no doubt in my mind that if Robbo had started he'd have been targetted too.

Another very good game from him. I had a debate with somebody in this thread a few week back about who is the better of him or Robbo going forward and I was of the opinion that Robbo is the best going forward despite not being able to play a decent corner if his life depended on it. However, I feel like Tsimikas is proving me wrong. The guy is quick, agile, can dribble past players and inside of the box he always feels like a threat. On top of all of that his crosses are just beautiful whether its from open play or from a set-piece.

I love Robbo to death but I feel like at the moment it would be very harsh not to keep Tsimikas in the starting 11.

Also, another good find from our scouts, Edwards and the rest of the staff. The lad didn't exactly play in the Bundesliga or the Eredivisie, he was at Olympiacos and not a lot of people were convinced when the transfer happened. He spent last season on the bench and it sure did feel, at times, like we had completely missed our shot. Fast forward to this season and the lad is just ripping any doubt you may have about him one game at a time.

Said it a few weeks back and I'll say it again.

If he gets dropped again he should be pissed.

Not even talking about rotation but on form this season he deserves a proper run in the side as has been the better player.

Probably will start again midweek.

Can be rotated with robbo without fear of a drop off in quality. superb situation to be in.

He is an excellent crosser and is better technically than Robertson. On current form he shouldn’t be dropped for the next league game. Robertson shouldn’t get back in based on reputation.

The ideal here is he keeps the jersey forcing Robbo to get even better, not Robbo just walking back in

Defensively weak early on.....very slow tracking back and gassed after 25 but settled down and steady from 35 mins or so.

Tidy enough but needs to watch his recovery lines and the midfield balance.....Real whip on his decent deliveries.

Has came on a ton though.....im not shitting myself when Robbo gets crocked and he can definitely contribute over the season.

Kostas has done a very good job but Robbo is physically on another level IMO.

There were some real hairy moments from him last night.

Kostas is a great backup for robbo, but he aint robbo.
