      Premier League Fixtures 2020/21
      Aug 16, 2020 11:21:39 am
According to the Fantasy League website, we're starting at West Ham away.  When you put your players into the team it shows their 'next game' and ours is down as the Hammers.

Full list should be out this week.  Less than four weeks to go.

The Christmas run ain't too shabby and the run in for the end of the season isn't bad either.

Tricky start though will need to be at it

Blues will be moaning that it will likely be the second derby on the bounce at their shithole with no fans

Very tough start to the season, if we are still in contention by the end of November then we are looking good, the Run-in is also very nice, after Man Utd away.

Leeds will be an interesting and tricky first fixture as they are a slightly unknown quantity although Jürgen and the boys will no doubt have extensive files on them. Chelsea second up is probably ok as they will probably still be in a bit of flux will all the new recruits.

I would say the milestones are:

      - End of Nov are we in contention.
      - End of Feb are we still in contention
      - End of April, if we are ahead or just a few points behind at this point then we should win, last 4 games in May are very winnable

Strange situation at the moment but I'm sure Jürgen'll have them at it.

Exactly champions take it in their stride,we know whats required, the learning curve never decrease many things will have been learned after our brilliant campaign last season , the CL blip will have been dissected and as I say learned from, the hard part is the fans not being there god knows when that will get back to normality ,if it ever does, seeing Anfield empty is a terrible watch no matter how they try to replicate it.

Tricky start to the season...hopefully Pulisic isn’t back from injury in time for that game.

Chelsea look as though they have the best layout of fixtures from what I’ve seen so far.

If we can win those first 3 games then that will set us up nicely, with the next 4 being winnable. Could put pressure on City early especially if we can beat them after those fixtures. Cannot wait already!

Predicted we'd get Leeds away first up but home is better. Happy to see Leeds back in the Prem.Had some battles with them before they lost the plot.Should be a good opener.

Can't fookin believe it, I was just thinking about who I'd like as first opponents as Champions and said Leeds, might just buy myself a lotto ticket,

      Anyhoo,  f***in Leeds, "Dirty Leeds"
It's a brilliant game to start with, Champions V Champions and a reminder to Leeds just how far they will need to travel to get anywhere near us,

Under Bielsa they are bubbling along just nicely but a Championship winning side are in no way a bona fide rival irrespective of the history between us & them, I'm pleased they are back in the premier league but that's as far as my admiration goes,

On the 12th they will realise how wide the gulf in class is when we put them to the sword,  we will hit the ground running when we begin the 'Attack on a second title winning campaign,  they are simply at the first hurdle on a long road to survival.

Can't wait to batter these pretenders ! !

Promoted team at Anfield first game.  Second home game v Arsenal.  Same as last year.  Fingers crossed we get the same results.

Bit odd that we start and end at home.

      No idea.

The government keeps talking about "reports" and "feasability studies" but nothing concrete.

Lower league clubs planning to have some crowds in for October time.  Every alternate row empty and obviously people spaced out on their row according to their 'bubbles'

That's their plan though - seems ambitious to me.

Ideally you’d play as many big games away in September-October whilst the fans are deffo not a factor. It all looks alright to me, tricky start but Xmas looks quite soft and your lesser teams struggle because of squad depth so the less big games over that period the better.

I can see the lock out lasting all season. It's the only way. The virus will circulate more in the winter months, so I just can't see any change. In fact I expect to see plenty of games postboned due to clubs reporting positive cases. Could easily throw the season into some difficulty.

Nobody really knows if we'll get thru the winter without another major lockdown. If it happens football will be effected.

Cant see either another manor lockdown happening or the football lockout continuing much beyond October/ November

Clubs have already put systems into place and sold season tickets in lower leagues

But were talking about the Premier league and if you have a weekend with say 9 home  games and an average attendance of 29,000..260k plus all the peripheral stuff. Have to limit the crowds to say 10,000...nah I can't see it happening. Answer is we just don't know how bad it will get in the winter. We have to go through this first winter first IMO before we start really taking the shackles off.

Don’t like the idea of that Everton game being the first one with crowds back in potentially!
