Fairplay, I personally think the ref has decided on what I said above and the view from the angle of the VAR cam they showed on the replay just then confirms it for the ref.

Seen it from all angles now HR. Under new rules it's a penalty.

Tuchel's handling of Hudson-Odoi is just bizarre really.

Needs to get out in the summer and develop somewhere else.

EDIT: He's injured, ignore me :D

Still agree with what you said the first time. He is probably one for leaving, maybe Pulisic as well.

Ole’s triggered. This quote showed up on my espn fc fb page but don’t know how to link it from my phone.

“We should have had a penalty and that’s clear. I’m a bit concerned that we don’t get those penalties after what noises were made a month or two ago about us getting penalties. So clearly there is a point of managers influencing the referees which they shouldn’t do”

      F**k off Ole.

Hopefully Palace and/or Burnley can get something from their games today and we can make up some ground tomorrow.

Edit: Could do with Sheffield getting something too to be honest... three home wins today please.

      Quote from Isaac!

      ...which was...wait for it...a penalty.

When the penalty appeal was rejected in the reverse fixture, the Rice Krispies head said it wasn't a penalty. Now he says a questionable handball which none of his own players appealed for clearly was, and lashed
out at his rival managers for allegedly costing his team two points.

VAR provided the ref with all the evidence he needed to make his decision, which he did. The ref was brave enough to stick with his original call which he should be thanked for, rather than cave in and give them yet another penalty.

I would definitely be in favour of spray being deployed to keep players and coaching staff well away from refs while they are in the ref review area. The yellow card sanction clearly isn't enough on it's own.

      And Manure drawing.

Means nothing if we can't win or at least draw tomorrow.

I honestly think 2nd place might still be possible if we can pick up some momentum.

It's mad. At the moment I feel like there's an equal chance of us finishing 2nd or finishing 8th!

We can start the weekend in the top 4 with a win would be a massive morale boost.

Wrong thread but Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund is a fantastic match. 2-2 at halftime.

Haaland and Lewandowski each with a brace.
