Rebound wouldn't have counted as the match was over soon as the penalty was taken.

   Whilst watching that incident I was thinking the exact thing.   If he scores the rebound and the ref blew the whistle before the goal would VAR intervene again?      i.e  counting the seconds between the handball and blowing the whistle the first time.
