Shaw was lucky not to get a red there for me

The luck United have had with VAR in the last 12 months has been ridiculous

That's bolocks chats. He got the ball first and at best a yellow..

Neville was made up when he thought Burnley would see red then it nearly backfired.. Shaw was lucky.. Still be surprised if Utd don't win this though.

It was a clear yellow for the nasty follow through.

Never a red though don't know why Neville boy was getting so excited calling it a red.

Was no intent Baz and just his momentum of following through really. We see it happen so may times now. Some refs wouldn't of given a yellow such the complications of VAR.

Really hate watching teams like Burnley who have no reason for their existence but being a bunch of set-piece thugs. Even when they recover the ball they have no clue what to do with it and give it right back.

United looking poor so far so wouldn't worry about it to much.  :-\

Regardless of the score teams like Burnley shouldn’t exist. They offer nothing on the field and don’t have basic skills other than a long ball and a header. In the 5 minutes i watched they would make a good play to recover the ball then the next player runs straight into traffic instead of passing to the open man and lost it.

United have everything you need to win a title. Big decisions, big moments, big goals, good fortune, fully fit squad.

It's all there for them if they hold their nerve.

Did Burnley really think defending for 45 minutes was a good strategy. BTW clever play by Man Utd, not just lobbing the ball into the box but crossing it slightly back to allow player to take a sh*t, even if goalie saves it you have a decent chance of a rebound.

Unless they get some injuries, they have been incredibly lucky with injuries so far. Can they go a whole season without any injuries?

They had earned a bit of luck though, Burnley playing for a draw, sh*t football.

With Fernandes and Pogba United have goals and assists from midfield. They are not worried about shooting, certainly not the Suarez lookalike.

During quiet points in the seaosn I understand our reluctance to buy a centre half. The right one might  not be available and we are guessing on outside factors to do with the pandemic but when I see United in this position it really angers me that we don't sort it out and try and challenge them for it. Feels like we have written off the season because there's no way we win it as we are now.

No doubt in a one off game City will beat them but over 38 games Uniteds squad with all the moments that have gone in their favour they are real contenders.

If we fall away as we look like doing then its all on City to stop them.

Put all the sh*t we have contended with this season on United they'd be fighting to stay up, but they have not had to contend with any of that, quite the opposite.

      They have a good chance.
With VVD and Gomez I truly think we would be 6 points clear now...

But for me I would say city are favourites. United second. And if we don’t buy this month, we will compete with 3rd or 4th place.

I dont know if its good luck or something more sinister but you'd have to call united title favs just on the back of the weird decisions they get.

I would say VAR not even hiding it any more but I thought that about 2 months ago.

If they beat us they go 6 points ahead of us! Wow. What a turnaround.
They have tonnes of confidence right now it seems while we have fallen off a cliff.

Tough place to win at. 1-0 away there. Ominous stuff and no reason they can't hit us on the break and win via deflection, penalty or by getting away with basic errors in their own box.

To give them credit they are also a solid side these days with dangerous forwards, some spark in midfield and a solid enough back line.
