United over a sustained period now have had good results. Since Bruno Fernandes arrived you have outpointed us and thats over the course of year almost now.

True, but our season stopped with a few games to go last season and it hasnt got going again. I think it will kick on from Sunday

I still don't think we can finish ahead of you lads and City. Playing well is one thing, playing like champions is another and we're long way off that. Granted it won't be record points this year so standard lower. However, the year it's been that's understandable. Our defence still very poor for my liking which will be the downfall.

Liverpool only playing poor ( IMO ) because the first team been depleted to such a extent points were always going to be dropped. You'll soon come out of 3rd gear when players return and then just do a Lewis Hamilton sadly.

We have taken 229 points since the start of August 2018. It has brought just one league title.

The worry for us is the defence isn't ever going to get sorted this season. From this point if Matip is fit it is the best it can possibly be.

Citys next 5 games on paper, are given wins. So we will have to match them stride for stride before we play them, and then beat them!!

As much as we are all a bit gloomy after our last three matches, and they were sh*te, I'm not convinced Utd and City are that much stronger than us this year. Sure they are both having a run of good results but neither team is dominant. If we had a settled defence I'm convinced we would win the league this year but as long as we can keep Fabinho and/or Matip fit for most of the games until hopefully Big Virg and Joe return, then we have a chance. Factor in that we have Thiago getting into the grove now, hopefully Shaq as well, plus we'll have Jota back soon and our form should rapidly improve.

The game on Sunday is absolutely massive, I think if we win it then we can relaunch our title push, lose or draw and it becomes much more tricky.

That's spot on and I'm not usually an optimistic guy. No doubt we're disappointed allowing City and Utd back in but we've got 21 games left, 63 pts on offer. We HAVE to win on Sunday though to kick start us.

I think the next two games will define our PL campaign.

Win both and we are back in the driver's seat to win the league.

Drop points and I think City will capatilise and start to pull away.

Remember City are winning games without playing great while we are dropping points.

      Next two games are massive.

Because against us they played ultra defensive plus had a huge amount of good fortune yet against everyone else they actually try to play football, its quite weird.

      Big win that for Leicester!

Think Hassenhuttl will be crying after that one again tonight, for different reasons of course!

Only surprise was how poor Vardy was, especially in that 2nd half. Had a number of chances but fluffed all of them. Overthinking most of them which is unusual from him.

Leicester skip ahead of us into 2nd, even though our 3-0 win against them earlier in the season was one of the most comfortable we've had  :confused-smiley-013:

Citeh will pull away over the next few games I expect. Best defensive team in the league and scoring just enough to win most games.

We will fight them again next season when we're back at full strength.
