      F.A.Cup 2020/21: Winners Leicester City
      Sep 02, 2020 08:40:35 pm

      Starts tonight I think.

There will be no FA Cup replays during the 2020-21 season to "ease pressure" on the football calendar.

The competition will start with the extra preliminary around on 1 September and the final is due to be played at Wembley Stadium on 15 May 2021.

It has also been announced the Carabao Cup semi-finals will be one-legged.

The first round is scheduled for 5 September, while the next three rounds will be played on consecutive midweek dates from 15-16 September.

The Premier League season is due to start on 12 September, with the final round of matches on 23 May 2021. The league says fixtures will be announced no later than 21 August.

Fixtures for the 2020-21 English Football League (EFL) season will be released on 21 August with the Championship, League One and League Two also all scheduled to start on 12 September.

FA Cup prize money has been halved from 2019-20 because of the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

The winners will receive £1.8m, down from £3.6m last season, in line with the 2017-18 campaign.

The draws for the FA Cup extra preliminary and preliminary rounds, and the EFL Cup first round, will be made on 18 August.

The EFL Cup final will take place at Wembley on 28 February 2021.

The EFL Trophy will start on 8-9 September with the Wembley final on 14 March.

Far too many fixtures in this early primarily round to post or to be useful.

I don't see us ever winning a domestic cup under Klopp, he simply doesn't care about them.

I don't care either if it means we win another title or CL this season.

Would love to win this again

15 years since the last one, the longest gap between each win in our history, excluding the wait for the first one.

I know its not as big a deal as it once was but its still something Id like to see us win. A double be nice actually  8)

Best tie in the draw is JB Marine vs. Spurs.

At the moment with our injuries, I'd be playing the D team in this, we really can't cope with any more games.

Doesn't like a lot of interest in this competition here, other than our own involvment.

I watched most of Forest vs. Cardiff yesterday to see a couple of our loanees, Wilson and Ojo. Match was dire and having an empty stadium made it worse.

I have Chelsea-Morecambe on now. I suppose the more intriguing tie is JB Marine vs. Spurs.

Intriguing until Spurs go up 8-0, that is.

FA Cup 3rd round weekend used to feel massive when I was a younger but I just don't feel it anymore. Apart from the game involving us I usually don't watch it at all anymore but I'll probably watch the first few minutes of the Marine game later until Spurs score.

I think a lot of people feel the same way, including myself tbh . It is a shame really always enjoyed the FA Cup, in the distant past.

Id love to win the FA cup. Hard to believe its 15 years this year since our last one.

Were lucky enough in that we have picked up various trophies since. I can not understand how clubs like Newcastle Everton Villa Leeds West ham, big clubs with no success dont go full out for this cup

Towies Mark Wright coming on at the end for Crawley against Leeds. I thought that schoolboy scoring against us would be as bad as it got this weekend.

Was a fun 20 minutes that.

Absolute tragic piece of showboating from that Vinicius fella there.
