See Neco Williams nicked in at the post to head in a cross that gave Wales a late 1-0 win today. Good for him.

Watched the Spanish 1-1 draw with the Germans, that was a decent game. Of the others watched bits of the home nations games and been thoroughly bored.

Only benefit I see is the run outs and minutes under the belts for our lads involved.

There is already a issue with PSG not being happy with French Football as Mappe contracting it though to be fair their club was already riddled with it after they all went to Ibiza on holiday.

Thibaut Courtois seriously ripped into UEFA/FIFA after the third place game against Italy.

I can't say that I disagree with him. We had a lot of injuries last season and we massively paid the price for it.

Reality is until the players come together (unionize) and make a stand nothing will change. Football organizations will just continue to milk them for all their worth. This isn't just an international issue (topic seems to come up more) also has to be looked at club level as well.

Football during covid showed a lot of people (not surprising) that no football body is willing to do anything for the sake of players.

There's nothing I'd love more at the next World Cup than to see England go crashing at the group stage. Unlikely but would be thoroughly deserved. And we'd get Trent and Hendo back (seriously Hendo - just fake injury or announce retirement)

      F***ing hell, now that's a Nations League game I wished I watched!

England need to get rid of Southgate before he wastes one of England's best crop of players in a long time.

Haha I have to say I had a good laugh watching some of that. Supporters kicking off in the stands, Stones getting sent off, manager bringing slabhead on 3-0 down cos he knew there could be more. What an embarrassing shambles. Hungary well deserved, some fantastic goals on the counter.

Danny Mills is never the brightest person in the room... even when he's alone, so I wouldn't really pay attention to what he says.

I really couldn't care less about ingurlund n big arry. I don't watch or take any interest. But it was funny listening to lads in work debate over it this morning.

Italia 90 was the last time I bothered. Glad they got well beaten. What is this silly competition anyway?

didnt Portugal win the Euro's ? never been an avg team and compete in all the Comps to the latter stages. Maybe without yes men managers like Hodgson etc we might get some where but not with this muppet yes man. I feel cheated not enjoying watching England but its been more and more difficult since 1998. Dont even start on the supporters when they travel abroad

Nations League - replacement for the mind numbing International friendlies. Being relegated from the top league also affects seeding for the next Euros.

SKY with Police before the Germany game the behaviour was terrible what you have come to expect from England fans away no arrests early on imagine if this had been Liverpool in Paris rather than being responsible if they had kicked off.
Dont remember the media or parliament condemning the supporters . Perhaps Hoyle would like to comment on them singing the Anthem in Germany in front of German people just to be antagonistic

FYI. why nations league is cool and good for most countries outside of the top teams.

      Quote
Winning the group would secure promotion for Scotland, first and foremost.

Topping group B1 would mean that in the next Nations League, Scotland would be up against the best sides in Europe. That would mean plenty of glamour games and regular tests against stronger sides.

The biggest reward on offer, though, is what the Nations League means for other competitions.

In the last two qualification campaigns – Euro 2020 and Qatar 2022 – the group winners have secured a play-off place to compete for one of the last spots at a finals. It only kicks in if the nation fails to qualify via the traditional means, but it’s a hugely valuable card to hold.

Scotland’s appearance at the last Euros, ending a 23-year wait for a major finals, came about precisely through that route, with Clarke leading the team to play-off wins over Israel and Serbia.

UEFA haven’t confirmed that the same format will apply this time round, but have said that three of the places at Germany 2024 will come from the Nations League group winners, suggesting that a repeat of the play-offs is on the cards.

The other benefit of winning the games is that it can help with the traditional route of qualifying. UEFA have stated that the draw seedings for the Euro 2024 qualifiers will be based on how teams finish in the 2022-23 Nations League.

The Euros qualifying starts next March, but the campaign effectively begins on Wednesday against Armenia if Scotland want to make sure the next major tournament is one we’re booking travel for, not watching from afar.

If Scotland win do they go to group A and England in Group B.
Linacre wondered why Madison not in the 28 and Trent sitting on the bench.
Football is an easy game the one who score more than the other team win and England dont create or score enough none now  in 3 games.
Well the commentator said this England team have no personality hello look at the manager
