Sarr is African 2 of our forwards will be missed next season.  I don't want that to be 3.  We have 4 African players 3 of them will be going we can't have anymore unless there is an improvement in the schedule of fixtures.

      41mill, sh*t, that's not chump change.
Great to have another addition, tho not gonna lie, surprised given Werner was in the 40s too. Maybe was the salary.
Anyway, obviously really hope he's a roaring success and has a great career in a red shirt :)
      Good luck to him!!

Two big signings in no time at all. And all done with minimal fuss.
Wasn't that long again deals regularly feel though and we ended up in the bargin bin.

Fair point on Werner..Im just totally on the mindset though that Jürgen, Edwards and crew know what they are doing..im excited by this for no apparent reason if that makes sense?

Me too mate, I’m not doubting this at all. People were concerned about Salah and Mane - look how that turned out.

Looks like Origi further down the pecking order

Yes. Remember the club never said anything officially about Werner. It may be that they see Jota as having a bigger impact over time, OR the progression of this transfer window and various economic factors affecting world football made the idea of staggered payments (more than usual) more acceptable to the selling clubs.

I don't doubt Jota will come in and make a big difference, based on the success of the analytics team in supporting the scouts thus far.

Warner was asked to wait apparently  until financial situation  became clearer, he didn't so we move on Jota won't have been a flash in the pan signing and would have been scouted extensively  . Hope the lad excels

Looks like this one is done as well.

It's truly baffling that people still doubt this club and its commitment to success. We are fantastic at negotiating and closing deals outside the media (Thiago did have a lot more noise than usual) and our transfer record is as good as it gets in the sport.

Go look around the league and find a team that is better run than Liverpool......

      Fantastic news.

When I mentioned him in the other thread I was half joking and didn't really expect this but I'm a fan and think he'll be a great signing.

Salah as well, all roughly the same age and with the inconsistent tag

Nah Salah was off the back of a brilliant season with Roma when we nabbed him we had a better idea of his quality.

Jota is definitely inconsistent but with better players around him here than at Wolves he will shine.

Jota younger than Salah at the time, his numbers look good, absolutely incredible in their Europa league run too.

I think he’ll be excellent for us

On paper I do have to say this is an astonishing signing. Very average record, never impressed me in a match and he misses out in Wolves best XI plenty of times.

That being said I felt Mane would be an average signing and he ended up being our best winger since Barnes so I clearly know F**k all and better keep my mouth shut!
