Give him a two year extension. It's the only way we'll see him play another dozen or so games for the club.....

Hopefully he stays fit rest of season, brilliant option to have, and superb example for younger lads to learn from.

Makes no sense to be honest.

We have a new midfield now.

I'd rather we let Thiago move on bring in a fresh midfielder like Andre to replace him.

I like Thiago but he's barely gonna play between injuries and rotation if he stays.

If true surprised Klopp wants to keep him given you’ve basically bought a new midfield. Not forgetting he’s not the player he once was.

Don’t think it’s too much of an issue if he stays and extends and don’t tbink it would stop someone else coming in

The guy has literally had surgery, which is why he's been out.
The recovery needs to be 100%, which is why he's not being rushed back.
He is a great player. He will continue to be a great player.
His time can be managed when he gets back.
And he genuinely is worth having around the squad and helping the likes of Bajcetic on top of that.

I’m in the keep him onboard camp, as Racer has explained the fella has had surgery and once fully match fit he’ll be a option, but not just a option, the experience he has is immeasurable, yes he may only play a cameo type role but you simply cannot buy what this lads has, he’s been there, done that and has a sh*t load of T - shirts.

Exactly where I'm at with Thiago.

We've a very young midfield now so I'd be all for trying to tie him up for a bit longer and hopefully he gets back to a run of fitness after his surgery
