In 7 seasons at Bayern he only played 235 games. Thats not a lot when you factor how much football they played, winning damn near every cup in Germany and all and playing in the UCL. Not saying that tackle wasn't horrible, but we knew getting him the price was on the low side because he was injury prone. He hasn't done anything to dispell that thought as of yet.

235 games in 7 seasons is 34 games a season. That's a perfectly healthy number, and I would take 34 games a season from him without any hesitation. This narrative from some of our fans that he's injury prone is getting weird.

Yeah was thinking that he just oozes quality . I have said if we don't sign  a CB we won't win league but I also think if we can keep him fit just as important in getting over the line

I am well aware of his world-class status but was clueless that he is so good in the air, terrific to see him back on the pitch

Made Gini look a bit of a shitbag, with the way he steamed in and won those headers, also forced Gini into having to actually challenge for a header rather than stand off.
