If Thiago needed surgery they'd have done it long ago. He just needs more time and we don't know how much COVID affected him.

      This.

Fans are just growing impatient to the point of throwing out conspiracy theories.

Club have handled it a bit strangely though havenā€™t they which just leads to those theories.

I know they donā€™t have to tell us anything but the secrecy around this one has been a bit odd.

Yep agree with that never ever been any timescale clearly suffered a setback and frustrating when only 2 games previously was rumoured to be back .

For me the fans are creating their own issues

The player was on the end of a very nasty tackle that clearly did more damage to the player than first expected

Itā€™s this ā€œthirstā€ from some fans for wanting to know everything

The club are deliberately not saying anything to wind up fans - they clearly just want to do things their way and quietly

When the manager has some meaningful news about a players return he will tell us - until then just put trust in the club that they are doing the best they can for the player

"He is out there on the pitch, running, all that stuff. It won't be too long now" Klopp quote 20/11/20 and I am fairly certain there was a quote saying would be back after the international break which again has not happened there has obviously been   setback or confusion to what the injury is

Apparently heā€™s unlikely to feature this year. Gutted, because at least we had the hope he could be back next week or the week after. Everton is the gift that keeps giving, not!!

Klopp went into detail yesterday on his injury, saying that since there was no tear or rupture like w Virgil, people thought it would be sooner, but I'm the end he said he has no idea when Thiago will be back, reiterating how bad a challenge it was.

Sorry, should have been clearer, heā€™s unlikely to play again in 2020. I think weā€™ll all be glad to see the back of 2020!

We should do a shitload of loan signings in January, just for insurance, because at the moment these injuries are decimating our team and there is no reason to think it will be easier second half of the season.

Who could you possibly get on loan in January though good enough to help us?

      Actually, either could be true.

But let's hope for something better.

This is why I keep saying, if you inflict injury on another player, and it warrants a straight red, the offending player should be suspended for three matches, IN ADDITION TO BEING SUSPENDED FOR THE PERIOD THE INJURED PLAYER IS UNSBLE TO PLAY !

Only way to stop out and out assaults like that of Richarlison and Pickford. !

Too flawed of an approach where teams could use it to their advantage. If the offending player is more valuable to the offending team than the injured player to his team, what is stopping the team whose player got injured from saying "it's a season-ending injury" even if it's not?
