Would have loved to see him in midfield today with Fab.

We miss him so much when he's not on the park.

We have a player with similar skillset but he sat on the bench the whole game. Keita could have really helped today imo.

Why did we not use that 3rd sub?

Why didn’t he bring Gomez after we went up 1-0? I don’t know why he didn’t use his third sub.

I do know he has made reference in the past along the lines of not always using his 3rd sub because if we get an injury we’d be down to 10.

Even put on Ox for last 5 minutes, you know he's gonna run at them and have a long range shot. He's scored 2 crackers against them already.

That's the old Ox, not the one that never fully recovered from the knee injury :(

Leading up to the City game there were video recaps of the previous games where we won 4-3 and 3-0 and Ox played a big part in both of them.

Ox runs at every team and at least has a crack on goal once per game, just never know, one could have flown in, taken a deflection in...but we won't know, because he never got on.

Has Tiago travelled for the internationals, or is he still recovering his fitness.
I’m hoping it’s the latter if there’s a chance he’ll be ready for Watford !

Think his international days are over he wasn't selected before injury and pretty clear from WC Enrique doesn't want him

Not surprising as he doesn’t do quick recoveries.

Nobody does quick recoveries at Liverpool.

Calf injuries are 6-8 weeks long. As we're now only 5 weeks down the road, he's not going to be available for a while yet.

Didn't even look serious at the time, thought arghh just a small knock ..have a week off then be back but a possible 6-8 weeks is just ridiculous!

Yes it did look serious at the time, and it has been. Add his age and injury record, and the idea that he would miss just 2 games as was reported at the time, looked hopelessly optimistic. It's a pity as we've had several games where he has been missed, even the ones we've won. I think we're looking at after the next international break before he's ready to play again.

Barca want Thiago back. If we can get close to what we payed we should do it. Older player with injuries doesn't help us much. Top player in his peak, but he's past that now.

Not the kind of move you make mid-season since it would require further moves. Could be something to consider during the summer as he’ll be entering the last year of his contract.
