stories about his constant weird injuries causing him to mis too many games I think it was GLen Johnson. Not sure if you could play with an ear infection though that could be very nasty. We do seem to have quite a few who like to use a sick note though

Ear infections can be really painful and last a while causing other problems anti biotics could take 7-10 days to work. He is integral to our success this season if he doesnt play a lot of games we are in trouble

I don't think he will play at the weekend either I'm afraid.

Was about to post at least he can rest and be fully fit when the season goes again as he is not in the World Cup squad but realised he will probably sneeze in the winter and break a rib before damaging his nose when using a tissue in December.

Thought the same thing. As good as he is, he is just a bonus player to me. Cannot be relied upon throughout a season. If he can play, great. If not, we need to have another player ready.

When he is on there isn't many players in football that are prettier to watch passing. Nice to see him bounce back after two below average performances vs Citeh/Villa.

He is going to have to fit and firing if we want to have a shot at getting back into the top 4.
