Totally agree since he offered nothing in CM however ironically I would use him there next Saturday for the last time and put Nunez upfront.

We should have enough against them to beat them even with Gakpo's experiment.

We're wasting the chance of playing two players to their full potential because of not having a true no.6: Mac Allister who is moved from LCM to DM and Gakpo who is brought back to play CM instead of CF.

This is another reason I'd love us to quickly get the No.6 position fixed.

Would be pretty disappointing if that is it for that window.

Saw some people call his display a disappearing act...but to be a disappearing act you actually have to be present in the first stages of it. He wasn't.

By the standards we've set as an attacking force in recent year, I thought he looked miserably out of his depth. Causing some concern and worry that he is a few levels from what we expect. Not good enough.

Gakpo has scored for Holland playing LWF.

think Gakpo is a very understated performer he doesnt get noticed much again a bit like Ray Kennedy he glides over the pitch almost effortlessly . Hope he is ok soon he is a major asset for us.

He is back training so will prob play against Toulouse

Id say bench at best thursday.

Starts against Fulham hopefully. Quality player and game intelligence is clear. Such a clever player too. He's not Bobby but it feels like he's growing into that Bobby role and it makes us dangerous.

Needs to stay closer to in and around the box for me, not as effective when he drops deep.
