Any news on when returning, pretty sure Slot said week after international break ? Getting to the point where a big decision needs to be made

The decision should be relatively straightforward for someone with half a brain cell. If a decent offer comes in near to what we paid for him, 100% move him on.

We can't have players who are fit 50% of the time, should be against LFC policy. In any other walk of life it's borderline criminality.

Happy birthday to the guy btw.

Not really. Jota got hurt "at work", and anyone else in a physical job who gets hurt at work generally goes on paid leave/workers comp.

After the first time.....second time maybe yeah, not after the 10th time in 4 years mate - it becomes a piss take, they'll get impatient and sign you off permanently. Why are they going to wait and wait when they can just pull the next f**ker in no time, all that employee welfare is great and all, still got a business to run here.

He would have tapped in Gakpo's attempted shot ...Nunez thought it was already in, no anticipation whatsoever.

There was also the one he mishit from close range. Ridiculous effort. Jota would've had a field day it was so open in that second half.

"He'll be back after the international break, 1 or 2 weeks"

Never mentioned which international break though did he? Smart guy.  :lmao:

Jokes aside because I really don't feel like forcing any fake laughter, get this guy gone in Jan and bring Cunha or Marmoush in.

Anyone with half a braincell wouldnt be spouting utter bs like this post. Jota's last 2 injuries, damaged knee ligaments and now damaged ribs were through no fault of his own.

Fcuk me this lad has proved himself here and deserves better. We would have won last night if he had been playing ...

The likes of nunez and chiesa need shipping out. Jota when back will hopefully help Salah because he is carrying us at the moment on his back.

Not a case of whoā€™s fault it is, any touch and heā€™s injuredā€¦heā€™s injury prone and unreliable. Jota will be back for a month then be out again, thatā€™s Jota. Plus he hasnā€™t been that great this season anyway.

ā€œWe would have won last night if he had been playingā€ thatā€™s the F***ing problem, heā€™s no good to us if Arne canā€™t select him.

Arne cant select him because someone broke his ribs. Wtf is Jota supposed to do? Strap them up and get out there? The lad tried to play on ... probably damaged himself more. And theyve a new baby in the house this week. Get off his back.

If nunez wasnt so fcuking useless then we wouldnt be missing jota as much as we are.

Thats on the club for not fcuking off the ones who arnt good enough and bringing better players in ... not Jota's.

There's nothing you can do when your body is easily susceptible to injuries, Jota is an injury prone player - I'm not too sure what you're trying to argue here. Are you really fine with him being unavailable for half a season? He's not dependable and given his age, best we moved him on before his value hits 0 and inevitably leaves for nothing.

If you keep getting injured, then you are injury prone. For some reason you can't stay fit and we have to plan for that. Jota is a great player when he's healthy but at this point he's starting to look like he's made of glass.

As much as I love Jota he's injury prone mate.

You slaughtered Thiago, Keita atc for exactly the same issues.

Back in training. Hopefully a cameo in midweek in preperation for fulham. Him through the middle with his game and finishing ability makes us stonger. Or even from the left with Cody central.

      Get fit!

I would start him with Diaz and Nunez. Diaz hasnā€™t played too much lately and Nunez is an extra. Then try to take jota off just after half time if che is back too or someone else

Heā€™s not participating in full training. He was tossing a medicine ball. Heā€™s out till January at least most likely.

wait, broken ribs? from what? this isn't rugby tackling each other.

Didn't a player land on when he got injured? That would explain it!!
