As much as I love Jota he's injury prone mate.

You slaughtered Thiago, Keita atc for exactly the same issues.

Can't hold broken ribs against him.

      Get fit!

I would start him with Diaz and Nunez. Diaz hasn’t played too much lately and Nunez is an extra. Then try to take jota off just after half time if che is back too or someone else

He won’t be fully involved for at least 10 days yet

Can't hold broken ribs against him.

If it suits the agenda theyll hold anything against anyone.

I mean ... keita cried off time and time again. He didnt want to play. Cried off at ht or before ht plenty of times.

Thiago stood in the centre circle for 5 minutes last season and that was all he managed. Absolute waste of time.

Jota gets injured by 2 big lads falling on him and he needs selling. You couldnt make it up. Gonna be great when he starts knocking the goals in again.

Contributed more here than chambo keita thiago and nunez all combined. And id be happy to throw diaz on that as well. Because id rather have jota for 1/2 season than the latter 2 for a full season. He'd still contribute more and hes the best forward player we have after Salah.

Imagine selling him and letting salah join a rival because you dont want to pay up and having to rely on nunez chiesa diaz etc to compete. Good luck with that.

Definitely not mate but he still does seem to pick up knocks more regularly than most.

He's class and for me the best finisher we have so happy to put with it.

Jota has had a total of 9 seperate injuries at the club helping him miss just under 100 games for the club

Thiago had 8 seperate injuries missing just over 100 games

Ox had 6 seperate injuries missing just under 100

Keita had 13 seperate injuries missing just under 100 games

Not sure why someone treats Jota any differently to any of the other players that have injury issues at the club

Absolutely wild if you don't think Jota's injury prone.

His durability means he'll be a great squad option but nothing more. New starting number 9 an absolute must for us next summer.

Didn't a player land on when he got injured? That would explain it!!

Yeah that bloke landed on him (my memory is terrible so cannot recall the opponent) when he was running through towards the Annie road end.

He is brittle that's for sure. When he get a knock it tends to be one that keeps him out a while, whereas a more durable player it wouldn't be as severe. It's just the physical make up of players that determines it. Anderton (sick note) was always out with minor niggles. Our own Jamie Redknapp seemed to get hurt easier too.

Think Jota is a good option, bit wouldn't see him as an automatic.  If he isn't scoring he can be quiet, while Nunez, not the same class of finisher, is rarely quiet.

Our best front three with everyone fit, at the minute (yet to really know where Chiesa ranks) its Gakpo, Diaz and Mo. Diaz for me is 2nd only to Mo as he is a constant menace. Gakpo when the midfield is on top and he is involved is quality, but when the midfield is second best he can be anonymous. He is not one to dig in.

If we bought a top class #9, say Isak, it would be Diaz, Isak and Mo.

I really like Cunha, He can play as a 9 or in Gakpo/Diaz spot too. Has looked the part ever since he arrived in the Prem but now we are seeing lots of end product from him. Would love to see him at the club in the event that they are looking to move on from Nunez and also accounting for Jota's frequent injuries.

Nunez being doing a good impression with his closing down of defenders, just needs Rushie's shooting boots now.

Brilliant little cameo, wasn't expecting him to be as sharp and lively as he was after such a long time out.

Love those little jinxes he pulls off to sell the dummy and come inside.

1 cameo back and already light years ahead of Nunez ... those who want Jota bombed out ... well he can take nunez with him. A million times the player nunez will be on his best day. Welcome back Diogo. Wish we hadnt sh*t the bed early on ...

Too many welcome backs is exactly his problem - fans don't question his ability, it's his reliability. He's not a 24 year old anymore and it's only a matter of time before he's on the shelf again. Absolutely we should be looking to move him on, take the decent money that'll be on the table whilst we still have the chance and splurt it on Cunha or Pedro.

And you can fcuk the useless nunez off with him. Jota is lightyears on nunez ... one fcuking game back and he is bailing us out.

Who you replaing Diogo with ? No money from fsg so enlighten me as to who we bring in for a few pennies. I told everyone Jota will impact because he has genuine world class quality. So by all means fcuk him off but who you bringing in?

In the real world id be keeping Jota and bringing in another quality player to compliment him and fcking off the donkey that is nunez. It was obvious he was useless from about 3 weeks in but still the deluded defend him and claimed he was better than haaland 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

We got 1 point today ... thanks to Diogo Jota. A true quality striker who saved us no points and hes not even upto speed yet.

It's Jota's first contribution since Chelsea.....Imagine if all the players were like that, we'd never get anywhere. I don't think you quite understand the importance of being available for selection.

Nunez could be Isak, we'd still need a new CF because we need dependable players. Would happily cash in on both in summer.

Id rather have Jota 50% of the season plus another quality striker than the useless nunez. How he still commands a wage here is beyond me.

ONE FCUKING GAME and done more than nunez since he got injured and plenry more to come. Diogo is going nowhere

& I'd rather have 2 quality forwards available 80-90% of the time.

You seem to choose which players you're ok having injuries which is both peculiar and hypocritical, you either do mind injury prone players or you don't.

Great to see Mr Clinical back!

What a touch and as soon as he hit it, it was going nowhere other then the back of the net.

He wheeled away in celebration and I'm sure he yelled out, whilst holding the Badge, I'm here!!!

Please F***ing stay here!!! Don't get another injury till the offseason, if you have too. Amen.
