Great to see Mr Clinical back!

What a touch and as soon as he hit it, it was going nowhere other then the back of the net.

He wheeled away in celebration and I'm sure he yelled out, whilst holding the Badge, I'm here!!!

Please F***ing stay here!!! Don't get another injury till the offseason, if you have too. Amen.
Dude that finish was right in front of me. I love the dude, and for him to equalize like that, I'm still jacked. What a goal and what a player. Like you said, just stay healthy

He won’t stay fit but hopefully he can continue to have a positive impact before the next injury.

A doubt for the Brentford game apparently. Story of his career really, scores a goal then misses the next game (or more). Bored of it now to be honest.

Sooner we get rid the better. Totally unreliable.

At his age, the injuries will only take longer to fully recover from & this is the last chance we'll have to get back a decent fee.

Either way we need 2 new forwards in the summer, to go along with a new RB, CB, LB and DM.

Thats about 8 windows worth for us. We cant address that many issues in one summer.

We bought 4 midfielders in one window before so if needed we can do it.

Most people want Danns given more of a chance so we don't need 2 more forwards anyway unless the need to sign a shiny new player overtakes the desire for the kid to get his chance??

We can, because we did it in Rodgers and Klopps first summer.

      But I agree, we won't.

It's not what about most people want though, the reality is he can't even start against Accrington, the reality is he can't even make the bench in a league game where our #9 is suspended.

Danns is far overhyped based on what he's actually done and I can't help but feel that's more to do with how they feel about Darwin than how good he can be. Literally nobody would be talking about Danns if both our CF's were fit and firing consistently.

I've seen plenty on here who want him to be given a chance and some of its from the same people demanding transfers every five minutes.

      Can't have it both ways.

Personally I'm not totally convinced by him but then again I'm comfortable with the amount of forwards we have and think the only glaring needs is to move Nunez out and buy a CF this summer.

I just said in the brentford match thread its a pity danns is being loaned out. Id very much like to see him given the chance. He's a local lad and if he had a chance, did well i'd be happy with that. But it seems he is leaving this month on loan

Danns is one for next season and a 4/5 month loan with regular first team football could be the making of him.

Sitting about to play 10 mins here or there isn't ideal either and the only way he'll stay this window is if Jota is looking like he'll miss more games than we expect.

Yes thats probably about right. But Fowler, Owen etc were in the team at 18. But I agree ... one for next season.

It just brings into focus our need for a quality no9.

Exactly my point. The true great young players break through no matter what almost. Danns might become a quality player but he's far from ready yet for me.

Agree on a 9 as well as I've never been sold on Nunez and while Jota is one of may favourites he's very brittle.

Everyone in the world needs a top class no.9. We went all in on Darwin and got our fingers burnt. Will need to get him off the books and look again.

There must be a new crop coming through soon. Just wish we went for Isak.

Isak in our team right now .... oh my. Probably cost over 100m now. Newcastle have really snook up on the rails

Oh yeah that ship has sailed. Next time we swoop for a striker and spend big we need it to land.

Been some very poor 'out and out' strikers brought in to the club under this regime which we have masked well with false 9s and cracking wide players.

      Carroll, Benteke, Balotelli, Lambert, Nunez.

Some amazing forwards in that time but out and out players through the middle haven't succeeded here.
