So disappointed in him with that dive when a third goal was begging. He shoots or keeps it in play it's probably 3-0. But he decides to throw it all away in favour of simulation. He makes himself look an idiot. He makes himself a boy who cried wolf for next time he is genuinely fouled. Worst of all, Wolves score minutes later and a match that he should have put away moments earlier is compromised with his stupidity.

Not what I expect from him.

Should have been booked for diving. Wasn’t a particularly good performance from him otherwise.

It's Sh*t when when players cheat against us...and it's Sh*t when we try and cheat....maybe worse..we're better than that.

I hate diving. Hes got form for it and its unacceptable. Just smash it in the net and leave the diving out. Pathetic.

Our #9s suffer the most in this patient control set up, whether Diaz, Nunez or Jota….we have no real way to get them consistently involved in games. Our attacking dimensions around them with our #10 and fullbacks are almost non existent.

      Couldn't agree more.

Scourge of the game. That and feining injury.

These piss me off way more than referee mistakes.

It would be so easy to fix too. Start giving yellows on all dives. If a player goes down and they don’t call a foul then a dive has to be called.

For injuries, if a player is coming back in after stopping time, they should have to stay out of the game for an amount of time equal to how long they had treatment on the pitch. If they get subbed then you can bring another player in immediately.

If i was involved in rules of the game this would be high in my agenda.

Was really annoyed when I saw the replay.

First instinct was a pen, then I was embarrassed for him and then I was fuming at him for not standing the F**k up and smashing the ball into the back of the net.

He's dived before, initiated the contact with the keeper and got a pen....which is probably why he tried it again....It's called cheating

Pretty sure they used to do this at one stage.

Disappointing dive. But we missed him when he went off. I imagine he'll start v Villa.

I’m all for this, I’d go as far as a red too for blatantly cheating/ conning  the ref.

And who knows of the referees didn't continually think players were trying to deceive them they might get a few more calls right

Yea, if a player jumps to miss a player that's sliding in I get it, but yea if it's obvious that you are trying to con the ref with a dive, I'm ok with a sending off for that.

Isn't that what Barnes did at Hillsborough semi of 88 to win the pen.

      Nothing new really is it.

Pretty much every Portuguese player is blessed in the dark arts, it just come natural to them. From Ronaldo to the biggest portuguese yard dog they all know how to dive.

I think he’s gotten away with a lot of criticism whilst Nunez has become the fall guy

His finishing was and has been atrocious since he has come back from injury imo

Movement was good, fair enough but he should have scored a couple yesterday

      Needs to step up

This summer, much like Diaz, is the last chance we'll have to get anything like what we paid for them back. If it was up to me I'd be looking to move the pair on. Time for a change up.

No way we can move him, Diaz and Nunez on in the same summer.

A lot will depend on what happens with Mo, if he stays then the others can be replaced and it already looks like the offers will arrive for Diaz and Nunez in the summer and Jota won't be short of offers either if we're alerting agents he can be sold.

We should be looking to bring in 4-5 players at the minimum that can set us up for the next 4-5 years.
