No doubt he'll be crucified by some on here if he's not immediately banging in the goals and dragging us to victory singlehandedly.  Fortunately, the mods have built an ignore button :)

I very much doubt he can be worse than our current three.

Such a stupid and unnecessary way to lose the lad for 3 months now. Dead rubber in Denmark tough one to swallow. Hopefully he can pick up from where he left off.

it was absolute madness to play him, yeah I know hindsight is a great thing but we’d already qualified for the knockout stages .

No hindsight needed, I was saying as soon as we secured qualification we should field a team of youngsters in that match, most agreed, except Herr Klopp.

We felt his absence so much more than anyone thought we would in the Summer.

Klopp says should be ok for Thursday
“Alisson and Fabinho, I’m pretty sure [will be available].

“With Diogo, he was with us in the hotel, but he got sick overnight and we had to send him home. It depends how quick he will recover, obviously.

“He was in the squad and as I said before, he trained with the team and it all looked really good but unfortunately he got sick overnight. I think he will be available, but I don’t know.”

      https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/427181-klopp-on-jota-fabinho-and-alisson-availability-for-chelsea-clash

Looks like he leaves more room for Diogo to miss than Fabinho and Alisson.

In the squad tonight which is great news :)
Can't wait to see him back on the pitch, will be a massive boost if he can reproduce early form.

Needs to start next game, don't care for who. All of the current front 3 deserve a benching. Jürgen needs to change SOMETHING and he is top quality.

Thought he was gonna score with his fist touch today, just couldn’t control it, gutted.

He starts next game...Bobby or Sadio or both can start on the f**king Bench!

Every luxury player we own on the pitch with Milner it seems today.

This is the poorest XI I've seen in a long time for a prem game.

All very odd really. Fulham can't help but win this one.

Had one really good shot, otherwise he was a marginal upgrade on Mane which as of late isn’t saying much. But at least he has the excuse of being out for awhile.

Once he gets more minutes and once he starts playing alongside both Bobby and Mo (or Sadio and Mo) I think he will start banging them in.

Probably not his best performance gave the ball away just as much as Sadio, failed with most of his attempted take on’s but most importantly managed to find the back of the net.

The difference between good and mediocrity is very slim 😁

Jota is so fun to watch. Moves well without the ball and gets into great spaces. Finishing is really good. Need him on the pitch the rest of the season.

Wouldn't mind seeing him play with Firmino some. Mane isn't covering himself with glory or anything. Why not?

Excellent contribution again. Had a helping hand from their keeper but a goal is always a goal.

Jota been called up for Portugal for the World Cup qualifiers, Portugal changed their home games to play them in Italy so that their Premier league players do not have to quarantine on their return to the UK. But I just seen a rumour that boris has taken Portugal off the quarantine list? Not sure

You have to shoot to score, and it was at least on target. Wasn't a great goal, but turned out to be pretty damn important. I'd honestly rest Mane and give Bobby a chance to play with Jota the next game. Just to get some rotation going.

      At least on target? What?

I don’t understand why this goal isn’t getting more love?

For me, that strike is intentional, first time, and a sweet connection.

It's a sublime goal. Superb movement and flow from the whole team.
