I think in a swap deal, we'd have to look at things another way. Ki Jana goes for £13m and Jota comes in for £41m. I believe the mind of Michael Edwards would think we're paying £28m for upgrading Ki Jana's place into Diogo Jota, assuming Ki Jana costs us next to nothing. Think relative rather than in absolute terms. Paying £28m for Jota is much cleverer than paying £41m for Timo. The thing was we could get Wolves to take Ki Jana for £13m. So the deal made a lot of sense. For £28m, it's quite a bargain.
With CR7 now positive just read that Jota will need to quarantine for 14 days.
