ā€œItā€™s a time of the year where some things happen in the background so we have to leave some people out.ā€

Answer to question on why Shaq wasn't involved.

      Pretty big hint I'd say.

I really do think there are others who should be ahead of him in the exit queue!

Pretty sure other clubs manage and utilise the squad and what opportunities  are Jones , Williams , etc going to have to develop because they ain't getting much in the Prem

      Ask the manager

Dont forget he has to prepare the team, everything that goes into preparation in and around a busy period that he openly hates and doesn't understand why we play more football over here at that time of year when its less in Germany

I'm more than happy to go with his way as its brought success in the competitions I want it to

Bit harsh mate, if heā€™d scored youā€™d say he was cool as f**k, keeper read it well, same as Wilsonā€™s even tho it was telegraphed.

Bullshit mate, not harsh at all...no run up, looked like he didnā€™t give a f**k as he walked up! Lazy arse pen! Harsh, my arse mate!

Just want to win everything. F***ing gutted.
Why donā€™t players lace the f**king ball in pens. They know the keeper only has to get lucky and dive the right way. Piss poor that. Feel let down to be honest.
Perhaps theyā€™ve both had words about finding another club 😬

Stevie says there's only one spot where the keeper can't get to even if he gets lucky and goes the right way. The side netting next to the post. Let's just say those who missed, including some who scored are not trained to hit that spot under pressure.

Disappointed to be honest but should have won in 90 minutes and overall pleased with the display.

      Oh well.

Probably the last time we will see Wilson and Grujic play for us.

Wilson was poor Grujic played pretty well but neither good enough.

Origi also needs to go I'll be very surprised if he's not sold.

Not everyone can play pressing football. Some players are just not natural pressers. It depends on how they were educated as they come through as kids. Another few years, and our academy will have a bunch of kids who know how to press naturally.

Well I have always had a lot of respect for the competition but last year they took the piss.   So helps the fixture congestion and knowing them they would probably schedules us a day after another game again.   Mikel Pulis had a game plan!  Should have won it in the 90 minutes but like it has been said we have bigger fish to fry.  Hated the idea of risking VVD in both games with 3 defenders the cups are not for us the squad is good we are just light in one position.
