      Morientes as has been said.

Another was Mark Gonzalez, remember there being loads of hype and excitement about him, don’t think he hardly even played for us

Balotelli easily. I followed his games at City and despite his attitude problems, he delivered. I thought that, like Zlatan, he would apply himself in a bigger club, but I was dead wrong. Markovic was disappointing but I also blame Rodgers for playing him as a wing back in some games when he's clearly not one. That clearly destroyed his confidence. Kewell was the biggest one because the boy could play against the biggest teams when he was at Leeds. Imagine if he wasn't crocked how incredible he could have been for us. Scratch that, Morientes by a country mile.

Knew Balotelli would be sh*te. Same with Carroll. A fit 38 game a season Carroll had potential to be a beast if you played a certain way which we never would, we’ve been built on pass and move.

Harry Kewell tops the list for me here. Buzzing when we signed him and he was sh*te. Still haven’t forgiven him for his shithouse performance in Istanbul and begging to go off when the going got tough. He was a match of the day player, still scored some nice goals but games just passed him by every week. Lazy sod.

Joe cole comes close too. Have no animosity towards him but I thought he would be boss for us and he was sh*te too. Clearly finished before he came here.

Most recently its naby. I wouldn’t say he’s been sh*te for us, some good performances actually, but we haven’t seen anywhere near what he’s capable of or the performances he produced while in Germany.

Aquilani. The thread on him at the time was really funny. Loads of sensible people unable to admit he was sh*t.

Morientes was a big one for me. I think he even said when he was moved on that he should have given back the wages he picked up. Naturally he didn't haha. And yes Aquilani was a good shout too. My favourite one for comedy value was Bruno Cheyrou the next Zidane  :lmao: :lmao:
