Heard from an ‘inside source’ that VVD has completely shattered his knee. Matip has done his hamstring. No need on Thiago.

      Let’s see.

I doubt he would have walked off with a shattered knee.

Ffs... if Pickford doesn’t get any kind of punishment for that football is a madness.

Delighted with the response and performance. Robbed of a win and potentially no VVD for a while. Hopefully Thiago is allright.

      We go again.

Mother in laws birthday, just back from food [outdoors] and a few beers [if we move to level 5 that'll be up the F***ing spout too, F**k sake]
It's taken the edge off but STILL F***ing pissed off at that today.
VVD taken out of it, and nothing, not even a yellow card for their F***ing borrower of a GK.
And broad F***ing daylight robbery taking away Hendos goal, I mean what the F**k is going on with VAR, and what kind of fucksticks do they have manning it, I mean seriously did they forget to bring their F***ing labradors!!
We deserved the win, we were the better side, back on it after the disaster at Villa.
Even with Adrian fumbling a header straight at him, and loosing VVD for most of the game, we were by far the better side.
I literally could not BELIEVE they ruled that goal out.
I dunno, something HAS to be done, this is an absolute joke.

In saying all that, well done lads, much better performance!!!!

Just what I’ve been told mate, I trust the source too, it’s from inside the club.

      We’ll know soon enough.

They are delighting in how they got such favourable dodgy decisions today, and imply that VVD was justice for the bad fouls that we have given to them over the years.  :o

At the ended the day pal they still havent beaten us for now over 10 years 🤣.

Let them have their 5 minutes in the cold light of day if they couldnt beat us with all the sh*t we faced with decisions, absences and injury when will they? :lmao:

I always talk like that divvy, nothing ranting in there. I'm not continuosly bitching about the decision. Just stating the minute the offside decision is called, the VAR official has stopped looking at the foul on VVD.

That's not to say I agree with the decision just what I reckon has happened..

You all polite Received pronounciation speaking southerners or something? Get all offended at a few swear words

Apparently it was looked at just not deemed a red. That according to the atheltic.

Also been told pickford and richarlison went to see our players and apologised. Pickford apparently in tears.

VVD looking at 6 months out minimum.

      Horrendous if true.

It’s about time they get questioned, no way should they be leaving grounds without talking about their decisions when they are huge ones like that.

In the same season where Man Utd were awarded a penalty after the match had officially ended....

They better well explain themselves why they did not look at that incident after the offside flag went up.

It makes no F***ing sense. As far as Pickford was aware Van Dijk is onside, he comes out and clatters him. It was reckless and dangerous. He’s put him out for the season and he may never be the same player again - knee injuries affect many athletes. Horrific tackle and should be banned for a lengthy amount of time.

And the "tackle" wasn't even looked at. Unbelievable.

In a lot of ways, despite what was a decent performance, this game depressed me a lot more than the 7-2.

Can only hope we use the last few weeks as motivation for the rest of the season.

One thing for the blues pov is Calvert Lewin is becoming a real player. Very strong and under Ancelotti knows how to get goals. Very good header from him today in a classic Everton striker way.

However they didnt have our legs in midfield and take put the sh*t that happened in the game we win that easily I feel.

If the news about big Virgil and Thiago is true, plus dopey drawers in goal you can write the season off, seems the only way to beat us is by gbh and corrupt officials,

I don't agree with Jürgen that this game was pretty good, it was more pretty average from us. Adrian looked suspicious in the 1st goal, but I'd wait to listen to some goalie-expert, sometimes such balls are underestimated by us fans; the second goal was not Adrians fault though. Before we bi*ch about Pickford and VAR we should rather take a close look into our own mirror: 13 opposing goals in 5 games? There's a blueprint out how to stop us and it's working right now, so Jürgen better finds an answer.

VVD and Thiago will be game changer (the injuries I mean). Both didn't look disastrous, but both could be out for months. In that case the title is City's to grab although they also don't look as dominant as once. It won't be a boring season.

p.s. Thiago  :soccer_h4h: The dude is the real deal already.

Had VAR done their job, Oliver as well for that matter, Richarlison would never have gone at Thiago like a mad dog.

VAR have let the game down.If they can't act in the face of blatantly obvious serious foul play they might as well pack it in.

It's a farce and the club are right to protest.

Yup... if Pickford was rightfully sent off, a forward would have come off too to replace the keeper, so a chance he’s not even on the pitch to injure anyone... instead the refs didn’t do their job and left two thugs on the field until the card.

Pickford was rude, but nothing bad. Ask yourself what you would have said if Ali did it to some Everton player. VAR is just not thought-through which is inacceptable. It was once introduced to get rid of obvious ref mistakes/overlooks and has become a pain in the a**. But it will stay - for good, bad or ugly.

If Thiago and VVD are out for season it will be a lot harder, but not impossible, to win PL and CL. But no doubt I'd kill for Lovren now.
