I think Klopp needs to consider dropping Bobby, he offers absolutely bugger all these days, even his pressing and winning the ball back has dropped off. I'd play either Minamino or Jota in the front three.

As for Adrian, yes he made some decent saves last night but he is not a good keeper, even for a #2. Way to often he is caught out of position or makes the wrong choices, he makes me nervous in exactly the same way as Migs used to. Hopefully Allison is back soon, but I really would look to fast track one of the other keepers into the #2 position.

As for the CB issue, what issue, Fabinho is more than capable of covering for Virgil, especially with the defence dropping deeper and the team switching to more of a counter attacking set up, Jürgen must read my posts ;-)

Last night's tactics (only slightly revised) were brought to you by our injury list, our medical team report on the players involved, and our upcoming fixture list.

Even with that, we were still pressing, and the very reason the three subs were brought on with 25-30 minutes to go was in order to freshen up the high press.

Continuing on, five matches in 14 days from Saturday. Already carrying a number of knocks, including from some who played last night.

Anyone else think we actually looked better after we replaced the front three last night?

yes and no, intensity went up, but the interplay was probably a bit worse, we had a couple of opportunities towards the end where we should have done better.

Thought it was Hendo at half time that made the biggest difference.

His coming on seemed to improve Milner as well.

Made up with that. A Gutsy away win to kick start our quest for Number 7.

Fab MOTM, what a display and as said previously, the partnership between Taki and Jota looks electric.

I just can't get my mind off Adrian. He looks like a massive accident waiting to happen.

Can't wait for Ali to get back.

Well fresh legs against a tiring defence, and players they couldn’t really do any home  work on as a unit.
      Looked very sharp though.

A bit shaky but nevertheless a very good win away to get things rolling.

Can’t wait for Ali to get fit again like Aussie said. Calm it down with VVD missing.

Would love to win it AGAIN this year!
