Diogo Jota didn't do himself any harm at all.

Halftime comms all agree not a penalty - not a foul.

The bigger issue for me is how they were winning every 50/50 ball in the first 30-35 minutes. But this seemed less the case as the half went on and I expect us to assert our superiority in the 2nd half.

Pretty much. Not really a system change or a lineup change - we are just a better team and it showed over 90 minutes.  There's always something to work on and it would be nice to have scored that 3rd goal when we were dominant, but did enough to secure three points when we were missing some key players.

gomez superb 2nd half. sheffield utd were impressive, lord knows how they drew with fulham last week....

but i tell you whats absolutely sh*te, salah scores an absolute wondergoal, and i dont even celebrate. same with Jota. i now just expect var to f**k it up..

Been a bit iffy at times our start but we've got 13 points on the board - 3 games were against the teams around us (1st, 3rd and 4th) and we've also played Chelsea and Arsenal in that time.

Very decent, just got to keep going as we are and the performances will start to click as well.

VAR is a nonsense.They are making decisions that would need forensic examinations to prove.If it's to close to call..then how can they justify giving it?

A win is a win but that Ajax match sapped the defence, I'd like to rest a lot of players against Midtjylland

We could have won by more goals, especially if Mo had crossed the ball but it was a 50/50 and his earlier disallowed goal was beautiful.

That VAR decision on Fab was a F***ing joke. Fabinho won the ball, challenge was outside the box yet the video ref gives a pen.

Did well to get back into the game as the decision seemed to knock us off our stride a bit.

Jota played his heart out. Hard pressing, exactly what we need. He's our best option behind our front 3 and I have to say very close to them. Minamino still looks lost. One can see he tries, but that's about it. Shaq is too slow and Origi is...well...last on the depth chart I guess.
