Liverpool make four changes for this evening’s Champions League encounter with FC Midtjylland.

James Milner, Xherdan Shaqiri, Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi come into the line-up, replacing Georginio Wijnaldum, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane at Anfield.

Expected some changes, but not a completely different front 4 !!!

Delighted they are getting the chance, now hopefully they go out and TAKE it.
Have thought Minamino and Jota looked sharp so far, though Shaq and Divock not quite so much, but lets see.

Good opportunity for Shaqiri and Origi but most of all Minamino could do with a good night - he's watched Jota come in and sort of leapfrog ahead of him in Klopp's first team plans.

I am gettin a little worried about Thiago and Keita. Maybe COVID is poison for athletes. I checked some medical articles recently and it looks like as if COVID could be a killer for high performance because of long term effects. If this becomes general knowledge we will see a complete shutdown soon because I cannot imagine these high-profile players to risk their future.

To the game: I like that Shaq finally can prove himself. Really good to give our key players rest.

I don’t know why I feel a bit gutted for Salah, Firmino and Mane. Feels like this could be a game to increase their champions league numbers.
