Liverpool will commemorate Remembrance Day and support the Royal British Legion by wearing shirts featuring poppies against West Ham today, while a minute's silence will be observed before kick-off.

Curtis Jones poor in his last game for us so the only way is up for him.

Nat Phillips - big call!  Very best of luck to the lad.  Think he might actually be older than Joe Gomez?

Hoping Curtis finds his form again today - he's a great wee player on form, and looking to see great stuff from Phillips! COYR

I liked the look of Phillips when he played in the FA cup for us last year. Only time I've seen him right enough, so not a lot to go on, but he looked like he had good composure and could read the game. Main difficulty could be co-ordinating our offside trap with a brand new CB partnership. Still expect us to win this.

Wouldn't have gone with Phillips personally but that I hope means he now has a stormer not sure the message it sends to Williams but sure JK will have spoke to him . Thiago,Keita and Matip needed back sharpish

Phillips is 6ā€3 so will be better equipped to deal with their set pieces and may even offer us a threat with our own corners.

We know what style Moyes prefers so playing an attacking threat like jones in midfield makes sense.

      Iā€™m expecting goals.

Jota, minamino and Shaqiri are decent options if the game is proving difficult for us to break them down.

Think Jota still being eased into into it.  He's a great player to have on the bench tonight though because there are a lot of players he could replace if they're not putting a shift in.

Surprised to see Philips come in ahead of Williams, maybe for the height. Not sure when he last played though.
With no Thiago or Keita no way really Hendo can move back to CB.
Jones gets a chance after a poor half last time out, needs to do more without the ball in the middle. JĆ¼rgen not instead choosing Milner, so must want to make sure we create enough in attack.
And still Jota can't displace Bob, hoping the front 3 can have a better day out today.
Would expect WH to try exploit Philips, and swing balls in whenever they get a chance.
And just in general hope we can play better than we did in the CL and against Sheffield Utd, even thought we did win those two :)

Got to trust in the Boss on Phillips. Had options in Hendo and Milner but the Boss has decided and I back him. Jones in again. Other than that looks like us.

Would've gone for Shaqiri in central mid but we should have enough to keep them out.

Come on red men!! Good luck k to Nat Phillip's he would have been my choice. At 23 he will be physically more prepared for this battle.

Expecting goals here for both teams. We will have to play well on the ball and take our chances and ride our luck at the back.

Nat Phillips will not feature in the CL games hence his inclusion in tonightā€™s X1, good luck to the lad I hope he has a good game with minimal mistakes, great to see Curtis back too, his confidence may have taken a knock when he got hooked recently but heā€™s a strong headed lad and will take it on the chin, I like the fact he pisses red and will give everything he has to win,

Despite Whu recent form donā€™t think theyā€™re good enough to win but we need to be cautious especially at the back obviously, weā€™ll have too much for them irrespective of our injury woes.
