I don't know why you think this is some kind of attack on Bobby? He's in poor form for months. Deserved to be dropped for a better performing player in Jota. Got dropped tonight. And the decision by Jürgen is justified. We would all love to see Bobby in top form again but he needs to prove he can get there.

Stating that Mo and Mane should be worried about Jota taking their place too holds no water as they are also in great form.

Bobby hasn’t been in poor form for months, that’s literally outright bullshit. He’s struggled at times the last few games because teams have stifled our midfield and we’ve been less than creative. Case in point against a team that’s actually playing, we are scoring for fun again. Be interesting to see how Bobby would be playing against this lot, they have zero defense but it is what it is. It’s good for us if Diogo gets on a hot streak and his confidence benefits. And if Jürgen decides he’d rather play him than Bobby that works for me.

And on cue Jota gets his hat trick. Well done for him. Bobby may have to fight his way back for sure, but I’d put money on the chances he will soon enough. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Jota's movement is electric

I think we all knew Jota would bring something to this team but he has exceeded my expectations so far. Great performance tonight. He seems to have gelled quickly with Mo and especially Mane. Loving it..
