Mascherano on for Momo for me second half.  I really really worry about the guy.  Maybe we should have sold him when we had our chance.  He's looking Championship material at the moment - not Premiership.

To be fair he did recover his game midway through that first half, personnally I think it was a lack of cocnetration that left him in trouble a few times, but after that he seemed to up his game and had some good tackles where he won the ball got it away and this produced an attack. I still think he is better suited to deal with Martins and Smith than Masch. Masch action man style could conceed free kicks outside the area where Momo may just flick it away with his long legs as Martins tends to get the ball stuck under his feet where he drives power from those F***ing great elephant thighs of his.

Sam lucky we have a very important champions league game in mid-week or a few positive subs and his team would get a very good spanking.

I'd keep Masch nice and fresh for Porto.

      You sound like Rafa.

Let's start picking our best teams in the Premiership.  Anyway - we're coasting now at 2-0 up but I personally hate all this 'leaving fresh' for other competition nonsense.

He's really doing well off the bench - his Liverpool career looks underway now - all since that game up front against Cardiff TBH.

We should have won this game about 10-0.  Torres could have scored 5.  He is so lively.

No post-international hang-over today.  One of our best footballing performances of the season.

Even Momo's looking decent second half!

One thing; I'm glad Torres' shooting is off on a night when we don't need it.

edit: is that 5 or 6 goal attempts? ;D.

Come off it.  Torres is one of our best players.

He's pulling the defenders all over the place giving lots of freedom to the others.  I've said before that when he plays then other players will get more goals.  Okay so he has missed a few chances but we are winning 3-0.  You don't drop someone for not taking chances when they are so creative.

Babel, worth every single pound, maybe even worth more than we payed, the affect he has had on this game is just amazing, if he does this in just one more game this season, he has a massive career ahead, well done Theirry, I mean Ryan
