Bit concerned about Milner again in the middle.  As for Joel Matip - wouldn't surprise me if Virgil ended up playing more games than him this season!

Needed a rest though.  Should have left him out the squad entirely - give him a proper weekend off for the Ajax game.

Milner played our most positive pass from midfield in my opinion on Wednesday night, and hell bring leadership.

Looking forward to seeing Minamino in that role, I called it yestersay, think it will suit him, similar to what Lallana brought us.

Matip at this stage is a joke. Like the guy and hes good but ratio of games played to missed is sppauling. Id be replacing him in the summer..

Neco and Minamino havent been great recently, and Nat is still a bit of an unknown at this level, another good look at him today.
But Bob looks like he's getting his mojo back, and Jota is in great form. And thank feck Fabinho is fit and able to line out.
The number of injuries is incredible, it really is
After the Atalanta match, hoping to see a response from the lads. Certainly would prefer to loose that one and win this, than the other way around.

Well, that's good news alright

With  our absolute sh*te injury list we will have to get used to seeing the gaffer juggle  the first team & bench going forward until at least January,it is what it is and we just have to get on with it & hopefully we do something come January.
One thing I am confident of though is that I doubt we’ll  see another performance this season like the one we witnessed against Atalanta,1-3 to the reds.
