He’s very competitive and wants to play game in & game out ,I’d rather see a pissed off player than one who’s not arsed either way.

I was gutted I missed the first half but the boys obliged and scored another 4    Everybody was magistral today!

Total dominance, We were able to rotate (Firmino, Gini and Mane all got rested which is huge at this time of the year any other season let alone this crazy one), just hitting that nice sailing speed where everybody looks sharp and ready to go whether its from the bench or as a starter. All that without our two starting CBs and with big pieces coming back from injury soon.

Hopefully we keep that up and come out on the other side of this year with a healthy points advantage.

After a really hard week both personally and for the team I was a bit concerneed ahead of today, but that was the perfect tonic.

Great way to go into xmas break and with Spurs playing Leicster tomorrow we're guaranteed to build on our lead on one or both of them.

I already said that in another thread but if it wasn't for the fact that I (personal opinion) consider him as top 3 CDMs in the world I would say just leave him there and shop for a new CDM instead of a new CB (if we are actually shopping for a CB) but you just would not find anybody with comparable quality in that position.

He's just so good at reading the passes, anticipating and tackling the ball off the carrier it's frightening. Nice leap and strength in the air, good stride for a CB. The few occasions he was paired with VVD they looked scary. It's like the ball carrier gets bullied by Fab and if he gets out of it with the ball there's VVD just waiting to finish him off and vice versa
