Well I'm aiming to beat God's record ( not the almighty Fowler ! ), managed to say let there be light & Alexa obeyed my command. I've gotta admit I'm gonna struggle to get in the guinness book of records at this pace

Tell you what was nice today the lack of VAR

You usually don't need it when you win 7-0. It's the last 5 minutes when you're drawing 2-2 and there's a borderline offside call, is when you need it to go your way. Though LFCTV were convinced that when Takumi got the free kick on the edge of the box just before half time, the free kick would go against him. Despite being in an offside position, as it was not a penalty or goal, VAR could not intervene.

When we get a very early goal, I just get a feeling sometimes that we can really score a hatful. Often it doesn't work out that way though, and the game is more of a struggle than a walkover. And after half an hour of this game, it was still very much a contest. Then we hit them with 3 goals in 20 minutes either side of the break, and they packed it in, so it was a question of how many, after that.

On this date in 1992, Coventry hit us for 5. 28 years later, we hit 7 away from home, and are 4 points clear of the field. By the time the reverse of this fixture comes around in May, hopefully there will be a real party with silverware to lift at the end of the game.

Wasn't referring to needing it or wanting it and when there are 7 goals very rare that VAR not called in one shape or another
