RIP Gerry Marsden.  You will never walk alone

Only just seen this, sad and condolences to Gerry YNWA.

Still remember him getting emotional at Wembley in 89 singing our song.

      RIP

RIP Gerry..true legend! You'll Never Walk Alone and Ferry Across the Mersey will always be close to our hearts! I remember going to Liverpool when I was about 6 or 7, dad would always park up somewhere, get us fish and chips and then take us straight to the docks and start singing Ferry Across the Mersey! I thought he was mad at the time but he was just soaking it all in.. there is certainly a special bond between Gerry and the City

Larry King: Veteran US talk show host dies aged 87
Larry King, giant of US broadcasting who achieved worldwide fame for interviewing political leaders and celebrities, has died at the age of 87.

King conducted an estimated 50,000 interviews in his six-decade career, which included 25 years as host of the popular CNN talk show Larry King Live.

He died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to Ora Media, a production company he co-founded.

Earlier this month, he was treated in hospital for Covid-19, US media say.

The talk show host had faced several health problems in recent years, including heart attacks.

Think some of the nurses in this country have put in a shift too, to be honest.

RIP Tom lad.  100 years old and Barbados in your last month.  Wouldn't quite mind my exit to go something like that! RIP.  (Unlikely - don't think any of my close relatives have made 90!!)
