Just found out in the same minute that Marvin Haglar and my cousin have died.

66 and 46. No age to die, neither of them.

      RIP

      Me too, a big shock.

He really got screwed over early in his career and often disrespected despite his obvious greatness. I remember him interviewed after the gruelling Mugabi fight when Hagler was hinting at retirement. "Would you miss me when I'm gone?" he asked the interviewer. This was massive news and the interviewer ignored him like it was nothing. Even when he won the title racist Minter fans threw beer bottles and chairs at him.

Hagler, Hearns, Duran and Leonard. You don't get better than that. Floyd fans get on my nerves with the GOAT bollox and their complete ignorance. Floyd would never dare get in the ring with any of them (of course Hagler was too big for him anyway ) but we don't even have to look so high. Someone like Benitez ( much under rated afetr the Leonard defeat ) would have smashed Mayweather to pieces.

disgraceful scenes after that fight ,it took haggler 3 rounds to absolutely destroy minter, who in the end looked like a piece of meat on a butchers block .
R.I.P big man you were one of the greatest fighters I ever seen as a lad.

RIP Sabine. She was so wonderful. When Top Gear was on form it was the best TV around and she was one of the reasons. I loved that challenge she did with a van around the Nurburgring. So fearless and so talented. What a loss to the racing/motoring world.

Came very close to signing for us at one point.

There is a pic of him with Shankly, Smith and Robinson signing the contract. Story is either he was shagging before the contract signing and his subsequent high blood pressure gave us the cold feet OR during the actual medical he was found to have high blood pressure and an std. We packed him off to Tenerife for a week only for him to come back with a different std and we called the transfer off. Heard both stories and both could equally be true. A complete character and football is definitely missing those types in today's game.

      RIP.

Trying to find a radio station that isn't in full on mourning mode is pointless. This countries obsession with rich people is f**king weird.

I was watching BBC news when it broke. Suddenly the expression on the newsreader's face changed and I thought "f**k what's this?" Her idiot voice shook with emotion and I was thinking about a nuclear exchange between India and Pakistan. But no, turned out some very old fella died.

Anybody got any good series recommendations for Netflix?

Probably at least 3 seasons long.

      Not The Crown.
