Now that the title looks increasingly unlikely I'm wondering whether I should start to care about this match.

Ffs, 3 points back with literally half a season to go.

Will jota be available for this one? I'd love to knock them from the FA cup and go on a run. I hate all the talk that this trophy doesn't matter.

Ok, but look at the results of all matches post covid. We just cannot find any consistency. Factor in our CB injuries and City now looking like they've found the groove it seems more realistic to look at a top four battle. It's a weird season, football without crowds feels like a different game.

I don't know Robbie but we do have north west derbies just like the London clubs say south London derbies. Anyway, let's move on.

I cannot see us winning that game, Klopp will field a second string team and Ole will go full strength safe in the knowledge that his players never tire or get injured!

I would hope if we get our mojo together v Burnley, Klopp would go full strength in this to try and get some momentum going. If we put in a decent performance snd win on Thursday, it would be ridiculous to change the side once we get some success.

On the flipside if we beat Burnley then a defeat to Man Utd could kill any seeds of recovery dead in its tracks. Its a tricky question.

I don’t see us playing second string. Maybe a few changes but the best way to play players into form is to play them. Our next game after that is Spurs on Friday plenty of rest time.

Put a second string out against Everton in the cup so see no reason why he wouldn't do it against your lot.

BTW what are your physios injecting the players with, must be some good sh*t! I don't think I've ever seen two players pull up at the end of a game on a Wednesday with hamstring and groin injuries yet start a game the following Sunday, quite remarkable really!!
