Play Henderson next to Fabinho at CB and play a creative midfield of Thiago, Shaq and Gini, if we do that we win. We may well win anyway but I think that's our best shot, we must be positive in this game and look to outscore Man Utd. If we sit back we are fu**ed.

I thought of Shaqiri being in there but for me he isn't the best at having to dig in, put a few tackles in and generally put in a solid performance which we will need, he's better suited as a impact sub running at tired legs, linking up play and a goal threat,
against Munts we need steel centrally albeit sacrificing attacking options.

For me as an American, absolutely United has been the team I most love to hate. For the longest time over here every default "fan" of English football teams would spout on about United just because they were winning so many trophies. I've seen it from people all over the British Commonwealth, United, United, United.

I get the rivalry with Everton on Merseyside, but not having grown up there, it doesn't hit me in the same way.

Sure, but if he's going to be in midfield he needs to do more than constantly try to lob the ball into the box. That was horrible the last game.

United being top going into this game shows how poor a season City and us are having this season,Jürgen will have a game plan as he knows how united and OGS will set up and play, lets be honest even with our injuries we are a lot better than them(no way they are finishing above us)and being at home i believe we will win, they will be happy with a draw,if Matip plays along side Fab we win clearly if not then by the odd goal in three. This game is set up for the likes of Thiago and Shaq to open up their static defence. We need to target Shaw as he is their weak link and hopefully Fred plays as he is rubbish.

Think we need to stop expecting to score 95 points every season. Having to grind it out and shrug off some losses is what a normal season really is. We are in a perfectly fine position, a lot is going to happen before the season wraps up. We are fine, but definitely need to make sure we take points off our rivals.

Amen brother, been counting the days too this one.
United may be the team in form but like the Merseyside Derby form goes out the window as it’s simply how you perform on the day,but as always I’m expecting us to do these and do a dusty with the 3 points.

Need Alisson on top form and hopefully Matip back.

Then we will be able to play Thiago, Henderson and Wijnaldum in the middle.

I reckon Trent will come back with a stormer and don’t get me started on our Scottish legend of a leftback, he’ll be bang up for it.

All we need is a little magic from the front 3 and I think we could grab 3 goals.

As I said thre days ago, I would drop Firmino and slot Shaqiri on the right and move Salah centrally. We can cause them a lot but we need to be back on form to do so. A win against them, will hurt their confidence and helps us so much obviously. Anything rather than a win is a disaster for us.

I think him returning to the lineup after one training.session would be a mistake, no matter how big the game. But I trust Jürgen.

It's actually the medical team who'd tell Klopp if he can go or not.

Drop your hardest pressing player. I think not. Firmino was made for games like this. bring Shaqiri on late if nothing is working. Otherwise you play your best players and contrary to some meatheads on this forum, Bobby is one of our best players still.
