4 games, 3 draws and a loss. Mid table form.

DeGea never had it so easy and Alisson had to make world class saves.

Yes true. We are not taken any risks from playing fan and hendo out of position to not dropping Bobby and Trent

i think we all can agree on that ref was shitt and two points dropped against a poor team. meh, just a dip in form. we will start scoring again.

Unbelievably frustrating and another of those games where it felt like we wouldn't score no matter how long we played.

Front 3 are really off the boil at the moment and thank god for Allison, couple of big saves there.

We just don't look like creating chances at all.

Klopp needs to knock the attackers heads together and Trent, this is simply not working at the moment.

We need to drop Bobby for a while and play 2 attackers and have more attacking midfielders. I'd also drop Trent, best RB in the world 😂

It’s the quality of chances. Today we let what, two chances get at us, but each required a class save from Ali.
We huff and puff and barely trouble their keeper at all.

And how is that a defensive issue? We huff and puff because we are a machine programmed and cant think outside that programme.

We have 2 full backs insisting on crossing

Forwards who wont take the defenders on in the box

Midfielders who want the short sideway pass and wont carry the ball at the opposition

Repeat repeat repeat repeat...its not working but we leep repesting

Milner and Origi on aghead of OX and Minamino, in the hope of winning?? Come on, our issues are not defensive

Can’t fault the performance all around the pitch with the exception of the 18 yard box. Number of times we were in their box and did F**k all was astounding just can’t buy a goal at the moment. 1 in last 4 games says it all about our much lauded front 3. United barely got a sniff all game and the few times they were in the box forced 2 Worldy saves.

Of course the finishing is a concern but I think that's a bit of a simplistic way to think about it. Firmino fluffed his lines but they weren't the clearest chances ever. United had far better chances. Having Henderson/Fabinho in midfield frees up fullbacks to attack more (I think they are playing conservatively) and it frees up two midfielders to press high and that's how we create a lot of chances.

I think people don't understand how important they are to the system.

Agree. It's not that Hendo and Fab played badly in defence (far from it), its what they bring to the team playing further up.

Anyone else think we should pause the season due to Covid until VVD/Gomez/Jota are all fit again 😂 Chance to reset front 3 as well.

Front 3 have lost their mojo, they had the better chances, but we bossed it for the most part, hope Klopp does not come out and say he is not worried, we are creating chances, 1 goal in 4 is not good enough

What is it with short corners in previous games and now TAA doing a short free kick in injury time, get it in the box,we need a goal FFS,no new CB's then forget the league, you can't put square pegs in round holes, can't believe we have got 3 points from 4 games, scored 1 goal and played sh*t in all of them.Starting to feel sorry for Jürgen,FSG come on our net spend is around 20 million a season since Jürgen has been here, back him in the transfer window.

Some major problems gto sort out. Bobby needs dropping even though it means Div playing. We desperately need a quality centre back to free up fab back to midfield and would drop TAA for neco Williams. Been garbage for 7 games now apart from the Palace game so changes needed

You drop Salah long before you drop Firmino. When not scoring Bobby at least provides you with work rate, pressing and movement creating space for others. When Salah’s not scoring he gives you nothing and becomes a passenger. He needs to get fixed first.

In a perfect world you drop both but Jota being hurt is really shitty.

Trent with about 3 minutes to go had the ball Mo made a run and pointed where he wanted it. What did Trent do, delayed then crossed a high ball into the box on top kf a 6'5 defender, but we blame defensive issues!!

Cant score and its costing us.
      Should have won that.
Bob couldve gone well before, was poor.
      Arrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh

DeGea had one comfortable save to do and which he did nicely. United had the better chances and that's even after Ole parking the F***ing bus for fear of defeat.  :f_steam:    In no way did you deserve to win the game bmck.

Title now out of our hands, no longer in control of our own destiny. Need to improve quickly or we'll be fighting for Europa spots. Fab, Hendo and Ali tremendous, front 3 and Trent's form very worrying.
