Tottenham Hotspur 1-3 Liverpool: In game and Post Match discussion
      Jan 28, 2021 07:00:24 pm

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium waiting to host the Champions

Starting XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Henderson, Matip, Robertson, Thiago, Milner, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino Mane.

Subs: Kelleher, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones, Minamino, Tsimikas, Shaqiri, Origi, R. Williams, Phillips.

Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip return to the starting line-up for Liverpool’s fixture with Tottenham Hotspur this evening.

The duo are back in the champions’ XI for the encounter in London as Jürgen Klopp makes three changes from the weekend’s FA Cup tie at Manchester United, with Sadio Mane restored in addition.

Fabinho has been ruled out by a minor muscle issue, while Rhys Williams and Curtis Jones also make way.

      Now Fab is injured ???

      We can't catch a F***ing break....

I always predict a win for the Reds -- why stop now?  Going with 3-1 with our front 3 finally finding some form.

Fab ... :-(  . Cant say I'm too happy to see milner in midfield. Looks a cautious midfield. Front 3 need to take their chances tonight. No faffing about.

And at the back we have to be right on it.

These injuries are F***ing depressing. At least it's a "minor muscle issue" which is what Hendo had and came back pretty quick from.

We have the worst luck in the league. I just hope that we are capable to fight them all the way.

All we had to do was buy a CB, not a world beater just a stop gap ....someone better than Williams and Phillips and more durable than Matip.......I just feel it will cost us the title this year in a very open league that any run of 5 or 6 wins on the bounce will put you right up the top.

CB's aren't the reason we have only scored 1 league goal since xmas and none yet in 2021.

Takes our players 6 weeks to come back from a minor muscle injury. Players having surgery at other clubs get back quicker.

Its a joke. We cant seem tk get through successive matches without an injury. Fsg should hang their heads in shame. No other top club would have gone into a season with threadbare options at the back let alone not address in during the following window.

We miss hendersons energy and press in the midfield

CBs get the least amount of wear outside of the goalie. That's why Van Dijk can play every game every year and doesn't get hurt unless he's chopped down by a t-rex.

My word, it really is one setback after another isn’t it.

And still we won’t sign a centre back!

Hopefully we can still win but if we get beat then if city win it's 10 points and a worse goal difference then the title is over and a lot of that lies at the hands of FSG

Sure. There's a pandemic that has killed hundreds of thousands and no team has had any matchday revenue in about a year.

I feel we are up for this f*cker! Put Maureen back in his box. COYR!!

Salah pulling his head out of his ass on Sunday looks promising. Playing 10 vs 11 was not working out very well offensively.
