Cheap option but better than nothing and may be another Gomez without the injuries.

He's 25 already 2 years older than Gomez and playing for a mid table Championship team.

Can't say I'm optimistic but prepared to be surprised.

What other option is there? Don't forget we've got 3 top centre halves who just happen to be injured at the minute. We're not going to spend 30+ million on a centre half who could very well be 4th choice by the time next season comes around

Great win, Mo back to his best, Hendo is a bit of a beast at CB, what a difference a week makes, bring on City.

Nice win reds. Looks like the confidence is back and shout out to Philips, thought he looked good today. Win Sunday and maybe a player in to bed in for the following games and it’s on again.

Great win, some superb performances and well taken goals. F**k worrying about City just yet, full focus now shifts to Brighton game. Just keep up the performances and rattling up the points.

And Northampton we’re trying to offload one of their players to a non league club.
We stepped in snd signed him, and he became the most decorated Liverpool player ever.
      Phil Neal !

      Good point mate.

Just on a PNE forum there and they are gutted he's leaving seems the fans love him and think he'll be a quality signing for us.

      Interesting.

Salah is phenomenal isn't he. 3 goals clear at the top of the scoring charts. On course to win his 3rd golden boot in 4 seasons. Can't believe there were balloon heads on Twitter saying get rid a few weeks ago 😂

For £2 million, he isn't a quality signing, he's emergency cover. I wouldn't want to see us F***ing around with the backline of Hendo and Phillips at the moment, they're playing well.

      Ahh right.

Never heard of that Davies before.

Hopefully it's bullshit Preston are struggling in the Championship aren't they?

Might as well stick with Phillips and Williams.

I know. Like buying a full back from a struggling championship club. Never going to work 😂

I expect mo to be motm for a terrific performance. He’ll deffo be my choice, but Nat Phillips ran him a close second.
So many great performances out there today.
With hammers being on a good run, they clearly expected to defend, hit us on the counter or score from a set piece, to leapfrog us in the table.
They were pretty solid until we scored, then they had to play like a real team, and got spanked.
Would have liked to see a clean sheet, but got a perfect in the predictions, so some consolation.
Need to keep this going into a 10-12 match run, snd see where that takes us.

I honestly think Nat needs to be given a good run of games now. This lad is coming in as back up providing we get no more injuries.

Could be a clever signing apparently Celtic were eager to sign him too.

And we usually get players Celtic sign for £1m after they’ve been to two further clubs. Then we sign them for £50m or something as mad.
Be nice to get in first for as change.

Right now I actually don't want to, if that makes sense. Imho he'll be on the bench if either of Nat, Hendo or Fab get injured. Matip looks like it's a longer issue hence bringing in this lad. Look at how long Klopp took to blood Robbo. He's an emergency signing because we need a player.

Fazakerly,  it's his experience we're buying, he won't be replacing Virgil that's for sure and, without being disrespectful to Nat who was again outstanding today,  we can't expect that young fella to carry the burden through the rest of the League campaign and of course the CL as well,  it will also allow Jürgen to rotate his back 4 .

Emergency signing yes but loans are emergency signings must have a bit about him only £2m but when all CBs fit dont want him being discarded only reason he is 2m is due to contract issue so covers both really
